2 ACE Hardware Updater The ACE Hardware Updater connects Microsoft RMS to ACE Hardware to perform: Electronic File Maintenance (Hot Sheets) Electronic Invoices (Receiving) Electronic Purchase Orders (Order Transmission) All Item Load Purchase History Load Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price Update Display a list of items where the manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) is not equal to the store retail price. Choose all items, items where MSRP is less than retail, items where MSRP is more than retail, or check off individual items and update the store retail price.

3 Mobile Wireless Real-Time Inventory Use a Windows Mobile handheld PC/scanner to perform Mobile Inventory Counts, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Label Printing, Item Management, Transfers, Work Orders, Quotes, Layaways, and Gift Registry. Forecast and Ordering Forecast and Ordering calculates reorder points based on sales history for a chosen date range. Reorder/restock templates can be saved by week, month, season, or any date range and reapplied in the future as seasonal demands change. Purchase orders can be combined, checked for duplicates, generated for master pack quantities, or leaned out to order minimum order quantities.

4 Rental Stores can rent, reserve, and sell from the same POS screen. Conflict checking prevents overbooking of single or multiple items. Configure: security deposits, damage waivers, cost of goods, late fees, time periods, setup times, run time hour tracking, signature requirements, refundable deposits, tag along items, pictures, contracts, and much more. Lumber Management Lumber Manager allows rapid unit cost calculation from the supplier cost units. Supplier MBF (thousand board feet) cost entered automatically updates POS cost per piece. Calculated cost can be marked up by a users specified percent. Retail price can be rounded up to end in a specific number i.e., $.09. Lumber Manager maintains a real time inventory in EA (each) and BF (board feet) on hand. BF is displayed along with lumber length and cross sectional area (height x width). The POS can sell in units of EA or LF (linear feet).

5 Product Catalog The product catalog shows items from ACE Hardware and any other supplier. The catalog can be searched by SKU, description, department, category, price, and manufacturer part number and can be modified to include other fields. The catalog enables rapid identification, displays stock / non-stock items, store status, optional cost, and price. Customer Preferences Customer Preferences can be configured for: required purchase order numbers, authorized buyers, customer discounts, tax exemption, item specific tax exemption, receipt preferences, statement preferences, and more.

6 Credit/Debit Processing Credit cards are processed directly through Microsoft RMS and sent to the stores Credit Card Processor of choice. No third party software or maintenance fees required. Signature capture enabled. Farm Plan Processing Farm Plan offers financing to customers of over 7,000 agribusiness merchants who sell: equipment, parts, fuel, hardware, feed, seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and service. Merchants have the ability to sell products to their customers and offer them: deferred payment, flexible monthly payments, and account management tools all funded by Farm Plan. Farm Plan transactions process directly from the POS including: Authorization, Cancel Authorization, Capture, Purchase, Credit, and Payment. Over 7,000 merchants accept Farm Plan Credit to increase store sales and remove the Accounts Receivable burden.
