2 MANAGEMENT, PERSONALISATION AND MONITORING AS EASY AS AN APP In food processing, the management and monitoring of tools and equipment is becoming increasingly important and plays a growing role in certification. Assigning tools to specific individuals heightens the users sense of responsibility and helps improve the care shown to tools. Thanks to this management system, improper use decreases and considerate handling is ensured. As a result, the costs for tools and accessories can be reduced. TOOL-CHECK is an intuitive program requiring little knowledge of computers. Thanks to its web-based design, it is always current and needs no time-consuming updates.

6 ALL EMPLOYEES AT A GLANCE You can search and sort using various criteria: surname, staff number, ID-number, company or department.

7 TOOLS IN THE SYSTEM You can search and sort using various criteria: EAN code, serial number, manufacturer or name.

8 TOOL ISSUING Items with data matrix code can be acquired with the scanner and assigned to an employee. Items without data matrix code can be managed manually. When issuing, the assigned serial number must be entered manually.

9 TOOL RETURNS When the tool is returned, you first check whether the person registered as the user is also the person returning the tool. Then you decide whether the tool is to be used again, or discarded.

10 EVALUATING TOOLS IN USE Here, you can quickly access detailed information on issued tools, e.g. which employee is currently using which tool.

11 TOOL PROCESSING OPTIONS Document your cleaning or grinding procedures to support your hygiene concept. In addition, you can view important information regarding the lifespan and maintenance of your tools.

12 CONFIGURATION & PREREQUISITES We are happy to assist and advise you on request. The prerequisite is a stable internet connection. Go to TOOL-CHECK is suitable for ios, Android and Microsoft-supported devices. TOOL-CHECK SCANNER S1 This special scanner can read data matrix code flawlessly and is connected to the receiving terminal via USB or Bluetooth. DATA MATRIX CODE contains all the essentials: the tool s serial number, manufacturer and EAN code. Even if 25 % of the code is damaged, it is still readable.

13 For simple, fast and secure management, tools must have data matrix code. For a fee, knives can be coded subsequently (all makes). You can enter employee data manually, or import existing Excel lists into the program. Any employee or tool data available in Excel format can be simply imported and then used quickly and easily. 14 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 1. In order to use the tool management program, a licence contract must be concluded with TOOL-CHECK. 2. The licence fees are tiered by users and the number of tools used. 3. The licence term is 12 months and is automatically extended for one year (for a fee) if it is not cancelled in writing at least 3 months prior to the end of the current term. 4. The manufacturers of tools and equipment reserve the right to apply a surcharge to products with data matrix code. 5. TOOL-CHECK is a web-based program. All data are stored on a mainframe computer located in Germany. For software updates and service purposes, TOOL-CHECK has access to all data. 6. Any software updates take place automatically. Program introduction and up to 2 hours of training are included in the licence fee. 7. The special scanner TC S1 is only available from TOOL-CHECK, and guarantees data readability. 8. Licence fees and all other costs are available upon request.

15 TOOLS & EQUIPMENT TOOL-CHECK is your contractual partner for the software, for training and for service. Tools and equipment are supplied exclusively via authorised specialist shops. We recommend that each user conclude supply contracts with their suppliers of knives and steel mesh safety items. This will make it significantly easier to manage master data on the user side.
