1 - NA Plymouth, Michigan September 9, 2013 Supplier Name Supplier Address Attention Accounting RE: Invoice Processing North America Suppliers Dear Valued Supplier: Johnson Controls has introduced an automated method for processing invoices at our Bratislava Business Center (BBC) for all suppliers that are not participating in Electronic Receipt Settlement (ERS). This new process will standardize and improve the administrative workload that is generated from collecting and processing paper invoices. Effective June 24, 2013 payments made to suppliers will be based on the date that the invoice is received and processed at the BBC. Suppliers have three methods of sending invoices to the BBC: 1. By the JCI Supplier Self Service application - Taulia (preferred) 2. By in PDF format (only for Johnson Controls entities located in European Union, USA or Canada (preferred) 3. By postal service (not preferred) Johnson Controls encourages the utilization of Electronic Receipt Settlement (ERS) whenever possible, however we recognize that ERS may not be feasible in some regions. If you are interested in ERS, please contact your buyer. Please note that ERS applies only to those suppliers that have scheduled agreements. Sending invoices to JCI via the JCI Supplier Self Service application or by is the alternative preferred method and will ensure a more efficient and effective processing of the invoice. France): ap-ae-eu-bbc-einvoice@jci.com In order to process your invoices as quickly as possible, please ensure that electronic documents fulfill the following requirements: PDF or TIF-file format of electronic invoices One invoice per one PDF or TIF-file only (multiple-page invoice included) Electronic invoicing only for Johnson Controls business unit Electronic invoicing only for Johnson Controls plants located in European Union Ensure invoice data is complete and accurate Do not combine invoices related to multiple Johnson Controls entities into one document Send electronic originals only. Please do not indicate the word copy on the invoices. If sending invoice by , please do not send paper invoice anymore this will lower your costs and also save the environment.
