Project Experience Project #1 Project Name CDO Tool Role Developer Duration September 2011 to December 2011 Environment Sql server 2008, SSIS, Vb Dot net, HTML. IDE MS Business Intelligence Studio CDO Tool is a web based application used by users over the EMEA Region. The central concept of the application is to allow the customers to report any issues in the purchase order by creating a ticket in the application. The corresponding ticket is assigned to the particular Project manager or Solution Manager for their rework and adding their weekly updates comments/ Service Recovery Action Plans back to the users. The Application is designed with many reports where the business critical users or admin users use these reports to manage their issues and be up to date with their issue status. The project is to modify these reports with new requirements and make the report user friendly by providing search criteria s. 3 Project Name Backlog Application Environment Sql server 2008, SSIS, Vb Dot net. IDE MS Visual Studio 2008/ MS Business Intelligence Studio 2008 Duration Feb 2012 to June 2012 The Backlog is a web application designed to provide Blue Planet reports for Poland and Romania s delivery operations. It contains data from Blue Planet system and Delivery plans from different vendors of equipments. The Backlog system receives ASCII text data files from Blue Planet (equipment & service delivery ), delivery plans per country (should be in blue planet but isn t so its collected separately and contained into big report - delivery plans are excel spreadsheet imports). The Backlog reports help Project managers to track, orders, delivery plans and solve some issues. The Project is to create a SSIS Package to Extract, Transform and Load data from the Blue Planet server to the backlog database server. The ASCII text data files from Blue Planet are received in a day to day basis with the help of SSIS package and load into our backlog database tables. This activity is completely scheduled with the help of Sql Job scheduler. Involved in designing the Control flow of the SSIS Package. Creating and Implementation of the SSIS Package. Project #3 Project Name Opera-A Environment Sql server 2008, Vb Dot net, HTML. IDE MS Visual Studio 2008 Duration May 2012 to June 2012 OPERA is a database application used to monitor the implementation of projects in the organization of the Quality Assurance & Customer Care Services - Deployment Services. The Main scope of this application is to maintain the Services management for current projects released by Project Managers, Reference to archived projects, Ordered engineering services from GNEIC, Subcontractor skills and contacts repository, Installation documentation flow control, P Selva Kumar 3

4 Useful pre-built reports supporting all the above mentioned areas The project is to provide the Approved purchase order details to the respective interfaces from the technical project managers to further processing. In this Process every Technical Project managers (TPM) will manage projects to process to the interfaces. So afunctionality is build in such a way the TPM s can select their respective projects at a single time (Multi-selection) and process it in a single shot. This reduced the time of the TPM s and made their jobs easy. Created logic for the project with considering the Datetime as one of the constraint. Involved in writing the code of asp.net. Client side validations with multiple TPM s. Client side validation with multiple selections of the projects for a single TPM. Successfully deployed both the Front end and Backend changes. Project #4 Project Name CDO Tool Duration December 2012 to April 2013 Environment Sql server 2008, Vb Dot net, Html. IDE MS Business Intelligence Studio The project is to prepare the CDO tool for additional regional units (RU) and regional clusters (RU Cluster) and made it available for more users across different countries apart from EMEA regions. Introduction of Service recovery action plans history updates in one of the user privileged pages such that this functionality helps the users to see the past updates for the issue at single click. And also modifying the reports with additional requirements and make it more user friendly by providing weekly search criteria s. Updating the Old RU and RU Cluster values with the new ones requested. Involved in writing the code for Grid View pages by using dot net framework. Using Data Source Objects Created a Report.
