3 Renewable Energy CONCENTRATED SOLAR POWER with DISH STIRLING & Steam Turbine Concentrating solar power plant CSP DISH STIRLING represents an unique energetic and ecological device, which effectively uses renewable sources of energy. This power plant is built on modern technologies, which are able to use concentrated solar radiation. This principle, efficiency and power output overcomes the possibilities of wide range of other devices using renewable sources of energy. CSP plants of this type are designed for combined production of electrical and thermal energy. Parabolic concentrator with mirror surface reflects solar radiation to the focal point where is the PCU - power conversion unit (aggregate). A main part of the PCU is Sterling engine which converts thermal energy gained from solar radiation to mechanical energy and then to the electrical energy via generator. This system also allows effective take-off of unused thermal energy and waste heat, so that the solar power plant can be used even for making heat and cold. This system features fully automatic controlling and positioning of the concentrator in two axes and meets the requirements in order to be built and engaged in harsh conditions. The output electricity can be sold or used for immediate consumption. Visualization of the concentrator s principle. Direct sun radiation falls onto the reflective surface (mirrors) of the concentrator and it reflects and focuses the sun radiation to the focal point where is a placed PCU with Sterling Engine.

4 Basic construction of Power Conversion Unit with heat Sterling engine. PCU allows simple basic maintenance and service, and design allows fast exchangeability. Sterling engine does not need water for electricity generation or cooling cycles (closed circuit). Construction allows controlled continuous positioning of the concentrator in azimuthal and elevation direction. Positioning can be continuous according to sun position or individual trajectory according to the data or staff instructions.

20 a) PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Preventive maintenance is performed periodically which includes all cleaning, inspection, testing, alignment and replacement of parts necessary to minimize equipment failure and extend its useful life. b) UPDATES: All hardware engineering and software fixes and updates supplies by the manufacturer of the quoted equipment are installed with the approval from the customer c) CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE Corrective maintenance is performed promptly and efficiently when requested, and includes all actions taken to diagnose and rectify the equipment malfunction. d) UP TIME LEVEL Omecta in conjunction with its principal s guarantee a % UP time of the essential equipment. UP time is that period of time during which the essential equipment of the computer and security system is fully operational and is calculated on a maximum of 8 hours per day, 6 days per week and 52 weeks per year basis. e) BACKUP SUPPORT Omecta maintains backups of similar performance for critical equipment, backups are installed until the time the original equipment can be rectified and reinstalled.
