15 Program Highlights INDOT 4 main goals of INDOT s DBE program are to: 1 Ensure we certify qualified DBEs in a timely manner 2 Set meaningful DBE goals on INDOT contracts 3 Ensure prime contractors achieve DBE goals on INDOT contracts or demonstrate good faith efforts to do so 4 Provide capacity building through our supportive services program and outreach efforts 15

16 DBE Certification INDOT INDOT currently has 627 certified DBEs Our certification staff make every effort to maintain the integrity of the DBE program by: Reviewing certification applications carefully to ensure that only qualified DBEs are allowed into the program Reviewing annual affidavits and certified firms to ensure only qualified firms remain certified 16
