This Institute has been appointed by MOHFW, GOI as a Nodal Agency for Coordination of Training Management Information System (TMIS) at NIHFW under Reproductive and Child Health II project. 1. Name & No. of post: Sr. Project Officer-IT (TMIS) (under RCH-II Training Project in the Ministry) 1 post Qualification: M.C.A./B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology (IT) Eligibility Criteria: Essential: Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience on web based applications using ASP.NET with C# and Microsoft sql server. Must be proficient with ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server. Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Sql Server database with events, triggers, procedures, etc. and experience of handing large SQL server databases. Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support. Must have good knowledge of JavaScript, jquery, Ajax, web services and XML. Skilled in database design, requirements gathering and technical specification. Desirable: Experience in Health Sector. Experience of working on MVC architecture, Entity Framework, LINQ and AngularJS. Working knowledge of GIS integration into web based application. Emoluments: Rs.45,000/- to 60,000/- per month, consolidated Age limit: Maximum 40 Years.

2 Job Responsibilities:. Designing and coding under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Officer IT/ Senior Consultant Training and DC-Training. Help team in core technical challenges faced during project execution. Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement. He should be ready to take ownership / responsibility of the project, can work independently and under pressure. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies. Travel to various States and districts (as and when required) to provide project related training to data managers, operators and different levels of officers. Maintain the Code quality as per the Government guidelines. Ability to work under own initiative and with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and follow timelines. Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management and State officials. Provide training, technical support to end users, Stake holders and other associated officers whenever required. Finding information about latest technologies that aid in the development of core web applications and enhance their features in the long run. 2. Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support. Must have good knowledge of JavaScript, jquery, Ajax, web services and XML. Skilled in database design, requirements gathering and technical specification.

Emoluments: Age limit: Rs.35,000/- to 45,000/- per month, consolidated Maximum 40 Years. Job Responsibilities:. Designing back end database structures for the web applications and also generating stored procedures that are complex in nature for the software s maintenance purposes. Testing the applications and websites on different web browsers to ensure a standard user experience for the clients across all platforms. Help the States in modifying the HR and training data of States available in excel format and bulk upload the same into the software. Coordinate the help desk services to solve the state / district related issues involving TMIS data entry and report generation. Any other works assigned by the supervisors. Duration: The posts are purely temporary, contractual and co-terminus with the project. Engagement will be initially for a period of 1 year from the date of offer or till the project continues whichever is earlier. The contract can be further extended as per requirement of the project.
