3 LabWorX Centralized Test Lab Management Suite System Architecture Standard LabWorX Components LabCentral The centralized server that provides data storage and retrieval, test system utilization tracking, as well as live monitoring of any system through configurable dashboards. LabMinder An automated notification and response system that allows for 24/7/365 unattended operation; the system can be configured to provide specific responses when certain errors occur, and notify designated personnel of significant events by text or . LabReporter An automated report generator that formats incoming data and makes it available via the LabCentral server. LabApps Android-compatible apps that provide notification and response capabilities via handheld devices. Test System Agent The Test System Agent is an interface package required for integrating any test system with LabWorX. iview is included with any A&D s software, while an iview plug-in is available for use with standard third-party test systems. iviewbox is an IO package that provides the interface to third-party hardware-only test systems.

5 LabCentral Centralized Server LabCentral Components and Add-ons LabCentral Server The LabCentral server includes all the tools necessary for managing the indexing and storage of data, as well as the web interface for data retrieval from all connected test systems. The server also provides a test repository, live monitoring capabilities, and utilization and part tracking. LabCentral Enterprise The Enterprise add-on provides multi-site data search capabilities that support the connection of multiple LabCentral systems within a single facility, or in separate labs around the globe. Data from all connected sites can be searched from a single location. Parameter Manager Parameter Manager enables lab personnel to create parameter definitions and channel naming rules for all client systems. Pre-defined parameters are easily accessible to all lab personnel, which ensures consistency across multiple test systems. Weather Server The Weather Server provides the ability to collect weather data, including temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and dewpoint, from one or more weather stations in the lab. LabCentral then pushes the data to the designated test systems. One weather station can accommodate multiple test systems.

6 LabMinder Laboratory Monitoring System 24/7/365 Unattended Operation with Automated Notification and Response Today s lab manager is under constant pressure to increase productivity, but at the same time maintain or even reduce costs. One of the quickest ways to increase output is by simply adding operating hours. Multiple gigabytes of data are generated every day, and manual retrieval and reporting activities can be very difficult and time consuming. LabReporter is an automated report generation tool that provides centralized report configuration management. Reports and calculations that at one time had to be configured and generated manually at each test system can now be run automatically. All finished reports for the entire lab are stored in one central location, where they are immediately available for analysis. 9 LabReporter Automated Report Generator An Unmanaged Lab In an unmanaged lab, the raw data generated by each test system resides with that system. The test operator must manually retrieve the required data and generate a report. The test engineer who needs the report for analysis will most likely not receive it without requesting it. Valuable time will be wasted! A Managed Lab with LabReporter In a managed lab that includes LabReporter, the raw data is automatically uploaded to the LabCentral centralized server. LabReporter then pulls the data, performs calculations and generates the report using specified formulas and templates.
