These features impact multiple products across the Workforce Central suite. New features are presented by functional area so that you can see how each new feature helps enhance business processes you have automated and optimized with Workforce Central. Implementation guidelines for features are also provided throughout the course. Key functional areas addressed include: system administration, controlling access to data, managing timecards and calculating pay, managing employee requests, setting up employee self service, and running reports. The purpose of the kit is to introduce managers and employees to the Navigator Framework so they can apply common navigation techniques throughout their business tasks. Configuring widgets, alerts, wizards, and workspaces helps you create navigators specific to different job roles in your. You will learn how widget parts, widgets, alerts, wizards and workspaces are related to one another. Using different case study examples throughout the tutorial, you identify critical navigator components and explore various configuration options. Using practice exercises and a sandbox, you configure sample widgets, workspaces, alerts, and navigators for a manager or employee role. It includes guidelines on how to prepare their environment for a Workforce Central upgrade. It also provides an overview of the tasks that will be performed by the Kronos staff so that IT staff knows what to expect during the upgrade process. NOTE: This course focuses on the upgrade process from Workforce Central 5.1 or later to 6.3. Customers upgrading from 4.3 or 5.0 will also need information on a few additional upgrade tasks. Detailed information on completing these additional tasks is available on KnowledgePass.
