Humphreys Director of Research, Europe ARC Advisory Group GmbH & Co KG Faisal Qadir Khan Senior Solution Architect, Technical Account & Project Manager Siemens Ltd Saudi Arabia David W. Humphrey is part of the automation consulting team at ARC covering manufacturing and process industry topics in Europe, and a former member of the Open Modular Architecture Controls (OMAC) Packaging Workgroup Executive Committee. In addition to automation, he also looks at economic topics affecting manufacturers and is the author of ARC s annual survey report on capital spending. Mr. Humphrey has over twenty-five years experience in industrial automation, including the design and programming of control systems in a variety of industries. He has implemented many projects involving PLCs, HMI hardware and software, industrial networks, drives and motion control. Mr. Humphrey holds a B.Eng degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology as well as MBA degrees from the Business and Economics University of Vienna (WU Wien) and the University of South Carolina with a concentration in International Business. In his current role, Faisal Khan is the single focal point from Siemens for Saudi Aramco. As a Siemens senior solution architect for operations excellence product XHQ, he is responsible for 31 site implementations within Saudi Aramco. He has 9 years of experience as project manager, senior solution architect, technical development lead and system analyst. And has worked on providing solutions for various plants belonging to upstream, midstream and downstream business verticals using Siemens XHQ operations intelligence and developed target dashboards, KPI managers, operational scorecards, plant information and monitoring systems. His expertise lies in integrating multiple systems by creating a central data store / dart mart and managing diverse engineering disciplines.

Frederic spent his entire career in the process analytics industry in various sales and marketing role. He began his career 15 years ago in France promoting CEM System, TDL Analyzers and Gas Safety Monitoring equipment. Frederic joined Siemens Process Analytics early 2010 in Singapore with responsibility for the business development and sales in South East Asia mainly. Frederic graduated with a MBA (degree with distinction) from Manchester Business School in He also holds an MSc degree in Applied Physics from the University of Marseille (France). Presently and for the last 4years, Ihab has been working as Global Projects Business Development Manager in Siemens LLC, UAE and responsible for the Analytical Products and Solutions covering the Middle East and Africa. Ihab experience covers different industries during his professional career, including manufacturing engineering, industrial research, Sales, Marketing and Business & Development. For the past 23 years, he has been involved with different processes in the Oil & Gas field. Ihab graduated with a Chemical (Process) Engineering degree from Alexandria University in June 1991 and has worked with Abu Qir Fertilizers in Alexandria, Egypt, Engineering & Transport in Alexandria, Egypt, Kellogg Brown & Root Abu Dhabi, UAE, Brent Technical Equipment & Agencies Est in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Mark has over 17 years of experience with Siemens and most of that has been spent with the Siemens control system, SIMATIC PCS 7. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree and is a fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management UK. Mohamed Daoud Manager Project Quality Management Engineering and Projects Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) Mohamed Daoud has extensive experience over 30 years with the oil & gas industry and quality certification in technical and management positions. He is qualified in project management, quality management, asset management, value assurance, process safety. In his previous roles, he has been responsible for inspecting and classifying hazardous equipment and off-shore facilities. As well as being the lead auditor or integrated management and ISO certification systems. His notable achievements include EFQM assessor for excellence, gold category SKEA award for ADCO and winner of IMC golden helm excellence award 2014 for oil & gas category.

Paul joined Milltronics in the UK in 1987 as a Product Engineer, providing technical and commercial support to sales channels throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Later, as a Product Specialist and then Product Marketing Manager, he gained extensive industry knowledge and hands-on experience with product applications in more than 70 countries. Appointed to his present position in 2014, he manages overall business development activities for Siemens Process Instrumentation, implementing global industry strategies and plans for products and solutions. Now based in Dallas, Texas, he travels extensively to support the company s international sales offices and distributors He holds a gold medal in his postgraduate degree in instrumentation & electronics engineering and has 35 years of experience in design & engineering, installation, project management, testing / commissioning and maintenance of instrumentation and control system of oil & gas, petrochemical, process & utilities and super thermal power plants in India, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Qatar.

Vahid started his career 20 years ago with power plant DCS system engineering through siemens solution partner. Vahid has continued his career in Siemens with roles as project and sales manager in various departments and in different industry segment. He has hands-on experience in implementation of the ICSS system in couple of the oil & gas & petrochemical projects. He has continues his academic study in artificial intelligent for two years.
