Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Installation Instructions Start Here Solar Eclipse Release 9.0 Setup and Configuration For Eclipse Release 9.0 and higher, a new Solar Installer manages selecting the correct Java version needed to run Solar Eclipse. Depending on your installation process, you may need to use the following instructions for each desktop that requires Solar Eclipse for day-to-day work. Important: This launcher installs a version of Java only used by Solar Eclipse to the client PC hard drive. This installation is separate from the version installed on Windows. The version of Java installed on Windows is no longer used by Solar Eclipse. This means the version of Java installed on your laptop or desktop for your work outside Solar Eclipse has no effect on how Solar Eclipse runs, so you can update it, if needed, without ramifications to Solar Eclipse. 1. From your Start menu, select Run and type javaws -clearcache Note: This clearing only needs to be performed the first time you are upgrading to Release Access the WebStart page for your server ( Your system administrator will have this link. 3. Click Install Now. 4. If your Solar download suspends or hangs, turn off your anti-virus software and retry. 5. If you are prompted to update the Java version, click Do Not Show Again and then Later. The system scans your computer to make sure you have the correct version of Java and installs that Java version, if necessary, and checks for Solar updates and launches the appropriate files. 6. Software and Hardware Requirements Ensure you have the following software and hardware requirements to run Solar Eclipse 9.0: Java Version JRE 1.7.0_11 or higher installed in Windows. This is required for the Solar Eclipse Installer and is separate from the Java version discussed above. Laptop or desktop computer running Windows 7 or higher for best results. Important: Solar Eclipse Release 9.0 is based on Java 8 and Java FX. With both Microsoft and Oracle discontinuing support for Windows XP, Epicor Eclipse does not officially support running Release 9.0 on Windows XP. 33 Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Remote Authorizations Customer Request "As a manager, I am required to grant authorization for certain transactions throughout the day. I would like a way to manage this remotely to keep me efficient and the customer receives better, quicker service." Enhancement Description Prior to Release 9.0, when an authorized user's login was required to continue with a process, users had to physically locate their managers and the managers were required to go to the terminal or computer where the process was taking place to enter the authorized user name and password. Additionally, some managers created authorization passwords to distribute for the user enter at the authorized prompt. In Release 9.0, a new interactive Remote Authorization Request function lets the managers review requests right from their desktops. The interactive program lets users request authorization and receive immediate notification when the request is approved or denied. Users and managers can see which authorization keys are required for the action they are trying to take. Note: Eclipse tracks these requests and responses in a new Remote Authorization Request Queue. See Monitoring Overrides below. For example, JackM attempts to lower a price on an item for a customer. The price is going below the Minimum GP% that the JackM is authorized to give. He receives the following message: Note: Use the Click Here link to display a list of required authorization keys the user does not have. The Remote Authorization Request displays. JackM enters the reason for the request and sends the request. JackM's manager receives the following type of message: 2015 Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 25

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 The manager can then authorize the request, deny or ignore the request and indicate using the message area why authorization cannot be given, such as "We cannot go that low on a price." JackM receives a message indicating if authorization was granted or not. If authorization is granted, a change log entry is added to the order to keep track of the information: Users can cancel the request at any time, if no response is received and they want to continue the order. Note: Override requests can only be sent to users currently logged into the system and online in Eclipse. Users must have the authorization key required to grant approval. Monitoring Overrides Use the new Remote Authorization Request Queue to review the users and their requests for authorization over a period of time. The Remote Authorization Request Queue helps you track which users request authorization, for what, and how often. You can also track which managers grant, deny, or ignore different requests. These data points help you track trends and decide a course of action. For example, if JackM continues to request authorization for an authorization key to adjust prices, and you see that he is responsible and consistent in his reasons, you may decide to assign that authorization to JackM permanently. Use this queue to immediately assign the authorization key without having to access User Maintenance Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Limiting Authorization Requests If there are authorization keys, such as SOE.CREDIT.RELEASE, that you do not want users overriding with this new feature, use the new Remote Authorization Keys Not Available For Remote Request control maintenance record to define those keys which you do not want requests for authorization. For more information about remote authorizations, see Requesting Authorization Remotely in the Authorization Keys online help documentation Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 27

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Windows Login Authentication Customer Request "I would like to be able to log in to my computer and let that be my login for Solar, so I don't have to remember two passwords." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, you now have the option to use your Windows login credentials to log you in to the Solar application. This means, you can log in to your desktop computer and not have to remember a separate login to get in to the Solar application. You can either allow access to Solar using Windows credentials or require users to use Windows credentials to login depending on your internal security measures. Note: The password is not kept in Solar Eclipse. Use the Windows Login Credentials and Options area (User Maintenance > Edit > Solar Eclipse Options) to setup how you want the windows password to work. Windows Direct Login The Enable Windows Direct Login option allows users to connect to Solar Eclipse without entering a Solar user name or password. Since the user has already logged into Windows on their computer, Solar Eclipse uses those credentials to log them directly into Solar Eclipse. If the Windows User and Windows Domain fields are complete, the system uses those credentials to log the user into Solar Eclipse and the Solar Eclipse user name and password are not required. If this option is not selected users are required to login using their Eclipse user name and password Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 LDAP Login Eclipse uses your company's Windows Active Directory server that houses your company's login information through the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) which is an industry standard protocol for accessing and maintaining directory information services over a network. Eclipse uses the LDAP to obtain the login information. The Only Allow LDAP Login to Solar Eclipse requires users to login using their Windows credentials. You can use this option to ensure that your internal security measures are followed. Meaning, when your site requires password changes, users are not required to change their Eclipse password as well. Eclipse verifies the information with the LDAP server because Windows user logins must be unique. If you enable this selection, the Solar Eclipse user name and password are no longer accepted and users must use their Windows login for Solar Eclipse. Use the new Windows LDAP (Active Directory) Servers control maintenance record to list the directories you want to use for authentication. If this option is not checked then Solar Eclipse accepts either the Windows Login or the Eclipse user name and password to login. Note: As of this release, companion products such as Job Management or Eclipse Reports do not support LDAP and users must use their standard Eclipse passwords to login to these types of applications. Eclipse Password Prompts Any prompts that normally display, such as for users authorizing selling below the GP%, when you are working in Eclipse will use your windows password in you have the Only Allow LDAP Login to Solar Eclipse option selected. Additionally, notifications when someone uses your password still apply. Eterm Details This new feature does not apply to the Eterm application. You will need to log in to Eterm separately. If you are in Solar and launch and Eterm screen, then the system requires you to login with your standard Eclipse login and password Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 29

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Central Purchasing with Linked Transfers Customer Request "As a buyer, I use central purchasing today, but we do not have a good method for tracking material as it moves between branches. I would like to use transfers to track the material coming in from the vendor and then separately track when the material is shipped to and received from other branches. It would also help me manage complicated situations, such as damaged items or mis-shipments." Central Purchases with Transfers Prior to Release 9.0, you could create central purchase orders combining items onto one purchase order using the Combine on Central P/O option through Buy Line Maintenance or on-the-fly through the Suggested P/O Queue. However, when receiving that material, there was no form from Eclipse to ship the material back out on, nor a way to know when material had been shipped or received to other branches. In Release 9.0, you can now create central transfers when using the new Create Central P/O Transfers option in conjunction with the Combine on Central P/O option and be able to track the material through from the vendor through your warehouse and out to your branches. Eclipse creates a single generation purchase order with the total quantities in the buy branch (or the branch specified) and creates open transfers for each branch that requires material. Allocating Material In Release 9.0, a new Central Purchasing Allocation through Purchase Order Entry lets you see the ordered and allocated quantities for each branch along with the associated transfers. You can change these quantities, ordered or allocated, and the system automatically creates, cancels, or updates the associated transfers as changes are made Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Inventory Inquiry displays the open transfer quantities, so branch personnel know to expect material. You can change allocated quantities from the Central Purchasing Allocation window at any time. The system updates the associated transfers automatically. The new POE.EDIT.ALLOCATION authorization key gives you an option to limit who can change quantities on the Central Purchasing Allocation window. Receiving Material If the vendor does not ship the full quantity on the first shipment, then as you receive material, Eclipse automatically allocates the quantities based on the percentage received versus what was ordered for each branch. The system respects buy packages and divisibility settings and updates open transfers to the new quantities. After purchase orders have been received, the transfer status updates to the next transfer print phantom processes the transfer according to the branch-level phantom schedule. Eclipse creates new transfers for any remaining quantities and repeats the process until all items are fully received or cancelled. For more information about these new options, see Automatically Creating Central P/O Transfers and Allocating Centrally Purchased Material to Branches in the Purchasing online help documentation Epicor Software Corporation. 40 Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Split Locations for Cut Products Customer Request "As a warehouse employee, there are times when I have to cut products, such as wire, and manually assign the pick locations for my warehouse. I want to be able to do this for each cut of a product." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, you can now take advantage of the Eclipse Split Location functionality when managing Cut Products. You can define a specific location and lot number for each individual cut. Additionally, you can use the Cut Comments field on the cut label for more information. You can enter your cuts for a product on one line, then manage the cuts by splitting locations or entering lot numbers and comments for each individual cut all from one window. After entering cut product on an order, access the Split Locations window from the Cut Product Entry screen and handle the multiple location cutting process. The system automatically applies the cut product details. In addition, you can add Cut Comments to any cut number to alert pickers and cutters of specific details. For more information, see Cutting Products in Different Locations in Cut Product Maintenance Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Pass Along Freight for Directs Customer Request "As a business manager, we want to have more options in Eclipse for passing along freight for direct orders. I want to mark up the freight from the vendor, or have options to charge freight even if the freight is not included in the vendor invoice." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, you can now apply different freight rules to direct sales orders, rather than passing along only the freight for which the vendor has invoiced you. The updated Pass Along Freight To Direct Sales Orders control maintenance record lets you determine how to charge freight to the customer when the payable processes. If there is no freight in A/P Entry, you can set rules based on the terms defined in the Vendor Freight Terms control maintenance record. You can set a global freight mark up and indicate how to apply the freight: Billable Only - Adds markup charges only to orders that have billable freight. This setting does not apply to orders that are freight exempt. Billable and Expensed - Adds mark up charges to all orders. If an orders is freight exempt, freight includes the markup amount and posts to Freight In - Expensed. Additionally, you can choose to calculate freight according to the Vendor Freight Term: Freight In Amount - Specify a set dollar amount to use for freight. Freight In Percent - Specify a percent of the sales order total to use for freight. Note: If you use both Freight In fields, the system adds the percentage of the total order and the freight dollar amount and uses the total for the markup Epicor Software Corporation. 42 Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Billable Freight Only - Calculated freight applies to orders that are not freight exempt. Billable and Expensed - Calculated freight applies to all orders. If an order is freight exempt, the calculated freight posts to Freight In - Expensed. Note: These Vendor Freight Terms apply if no freight is entered in A/P Entry. For more information about how this feature works, see Applying Freight Rules for Direct Sales Orders in the Sales Management online help documentation Epicor Software Corporation. 43 Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Multiple Item Customer Returns Customer Request "When entering large customer returns, I need a faster process than entering each item and then entering the return information for every line item. I want to be able to see the customer's purchase history and just select which items they are returning." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, the new Customer Inventory Return Entry window gives users a way to view the customer's purchase history and select those items being returned instead of having to search the sales order history for each item individually. For example, at the end of a job, the customer returns leftover material to the warehouse. Instead of entering each line item and cross referencing each line item entered to the original sale, you can use the customer's history records on the Customer Inventory Return Entry window to find the products purchased and enter the return quantity next to the original sale quantity. This process creates the cross reference to the original sale. Use the Initial Return Information and Default Return Information areas to define your return information when the returns are created. This new Customer Inventory Return Entry queue displays all items for a customer based on the Customer History Selection area, many products have already been returned on each order. You can enter return quantities for as many items as necessary and create a single return for them all. Use additional filters to limit the size of the history list to make it easier to find the products being returned. The Return Goods Verification automatically populates as you move through each line item. Eclipse uses the Default Return Information when creating returns and this information can be overridden at the line item level in Return Goods Verification. This saves users time by not having to fill these parameters in for every item Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 35

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Use the new Default Customer Return Entry Settings control maintenance record to indicate if you need return orders to be separated by other parameters, such as the outside salesperson or tax jurisdiction. For example, you have 100 items to return. Twenty-five of the items were sold by writer DOUGQ. Seventy-five items were sold by writer ANNEJ. You set the control maintenance record to split return orders by writer. The system creates two return orders for the 100 items when processed based on the two separate writers. For more information about these new features, see Returning Products Using Customer History Records in the Sales Management online help documentation Epicor Software Corporation. 45 Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Vendor Volume Rebates Customer Request "As a buyer, I would like Eclipse to help me track vendor rebates that are based on purchasing volume. Some vendors rebate a percentage of purchased dollars during specific time frames. I want to be able to set up these programs and view the information within Eclipse, so that I can maximize those rebate amounts." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, you can track volume rebates that are offered by your vendor during specific time frames. The new Vendor Volume Rebate Program tool helps you set up the vendor record with the rebate information. Define the parameters of each program and monitor your progress to reach the specific program targets. The new VEND.REBATE.VIEW and VEND.REBATE.EDIT authorization keys are required to view any of the Vendor Volume Rebate information. Users with the VEND.REBATE.EDIT authorization key can enter new programs, edit and review existing programs, run the build, and purge information. Note: Users must also have the VENDOR.MAINT authorization key at Level 1 or higher. Adding New Programs Use the new Vendor Volume Rebate Programs window to add new programs at the vendor level with vendor's program parameters. For example, your vendor offers a rebate program based on total purchases for the year as an incremental rebate program. If you purchase up to $100, of selected material from the OAT buy line, you receive a 3.0% rebate ($3,000.00). If you purchase between $250,000.00, you receive a 3.0% rebate on the first $100, and 5.0% rebate on the $149, purchased ($7,500.00). This makes your total rebate $10, The new program window looks like this: 2015 Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 37

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 For more information about adding new programs, see Adding Vendor Volume Rebate Programs in the Entity Maintenance documentation. Reviewing Rebate Programs After starting a vendor volume program, use the new Rebate Summary window displays the current programs progress. You can see at-a-glance how close you are to meeting the tiers for the selected vendor program and whether or not you are projected to reach that tier. Note: The Vendor Volume Rebate Build must run before the summaries will display. See Building and Purging Vendor Data below. For more information about rebate summaries, see Reviewing Vendor Volume Rebates in the Entity Maintenance documentation Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Drilling into Item Details The new Rebate Detail display provides the individual product purchase data by line item that make up the summary for the Rebate Summary window. For more information about vendor item details, see Drilling into Vendor Volume Rebate Details in the Entity Maintenance documentation. Building and Purging Vendor Data Use the new Vendor Volume Rebate Build tool to retrieve the latest information about your vendor volume rebates, including your percent to target and total dollars. You can run this build based on your business need to ensure that the summary and rebate program has the most up-to-date information. If you do not have many volume rebates available, you may run this build once a week. If you frequently take advantage of vendor rebates, you can run the build nightly to ensure you have the most current data each morning. You can purge the data after a certain number of months, as needed. Most companies traditionally keep 36 months worth of information to track the success of the rebate programs. For more information about the build and purge functionality, see Building, Scheduling, and Purging Vendor Volume Rebate Data in the Entity Maintenance documentation Epicor Software Corporation. 48 Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Automatic Write Off Utility Enhancements Customer Request "As a manager, I do not want to have to go through the write-offs individually and determine what dates each will be written off prior to running the Write Off utility. It would be better to have the write-offs posted to the date when the utility runs." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, Eclipse adjusts each individual cash receipt to write off the freight, handling, or discounts by creating a new $0.00 cash receipt dated on the date the utility was run to write off these amounts. This means, you no long have to ensure that the period is open on the original cash receipts or worry about the G/L balances changing in previous periods because of these write off amounts. Customer Request "As a manager, I would like the ability to drill into the cash receipts from the Automatic Write-Off utility report so that I do not have to manually search for the write-off in order to view it." Enhancement Description A new Write-Off Receipt column has been added to the Automatic Cash Receipt Write Off Report so you can see immediately the cash receipt number and drill into the information directly from the report. When viewing in Report Viewer, double-click the receipt number and display the write-off cash receipt Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

However, when a Sales Order Invoice is finalized to the point it needs to be reported to sales tax agencies, the tax information needs to be sent to Avalara as Committed. Eclipse provides a tool to send the transactions to Avalara after the orders are invoiced and the G/L Sales period has closed. The new Avalara Tax Commit tool lets you send or schedule all invoiced sales generations within a specific ship date range to Avalara for tax reporting purposes. This process captures all orders with a ship date included in the range and sends them to Avalara with a Committed status Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 51

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 What's New in Job Management Release 9.0 Job Management is a companion product. Companion products are not included in the core functionality with Eclipse DMS, but are available at an additional cost through your Eclipse Salesperson. The following updates were made in the Job Management system. Note: As of this release, Job Management will align release numbers with core Eclipse. Login Options In Release 9.0, you can access Job Management from the Eclipse Web Start Page or from the Solar Eclipse application itself. Within Solar Eclipse, a new Job Management option has been added to the Orders menu. This provides quick access to Job Management and allows you to be automatically logged in because you have already logged in to Eclipse. New Solar Eclipse Icon In Release 9.0, the Solar Eclipse icon has been updated to match other Epicor systems. This means, when viewing pages within Job Management, you may see the new icon displayed. Use this icon as an indicator of which transactions you can drill into in the Eclipse application. Bill-To Address Display In Release 9.0, a new option on the Admin page indicates if you want to display the bill-to address on the request for quote (RFQ) and Release P/O documents. Importing BOMs Using Excel Prior to Release 9.0, you could import Excel files, but it was only for the Bill of Materials. Now in Release 9.0, you can now import using a spreadsheet program for change orders. If you keep a list using Excel of items that may be added to a job, you can then import that list easily without having to manually enter all the items for the job Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 From the change order page, click the Excel icon. You do not have to import the entire sheet. After selecting the file you want to import, you can select which columns you want to include. Subject Line Update In Release 9.0, Job Management now uses a new standard format for the subject line of s sent from within the system. Subject lines include the form name, title or document number, and the purchase order or sales order number. If you append anything to the Subject line, the system includes that text and still adds the order number at the end of the line. This new enhancement allows you to scan your Inbox and search for documents at a glance instead of having to open each to see which document it contains Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 61

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Change Order Drafts In Release 9.0, you now have an option to save a draft of the change order on which you are working. At the bottom of the change order, click Save to save a draft and revisit later. For more information, see Creating Change Order Drafts in this documentation. Change Order Result Filters In Release 9.0, you can now filter the change order items by Type, Vendor, Description, Unit/Lot and P/O Number. Use the filter fields to either select a value or type a value free form. Vendor Quick Access In Release 9.0, you can now quickly access your vendor information for a change order. A new Vendors drop down area provides the same fields as the job vendor information. Use these fields to update the currently displayed job. Job Management updates the Vendor details in the current job but does not change the overall vendor details or send those changes back to the Eclipse maintenance files. Change Order Totals Additional Display In Release 9.0, you can now view the change order totals at the bottom of the Bill of Materials list on the change order page. This new display location lets you quickly refer to the totals information when adding items to the bill of materials Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Cut and Paste in Change Orders In Release 9.0, you now have cut and paste icons on new change orders to help you manage adding information between line items. Show Only Changed Items Option In Release 9.0, use the new Filter icon to modify your change order, but only display those items that you have changed quantities. When working with large change order lists, this option lets you preview your changes easily without having to scan all the items. This link toggles between displaying only changed items and displaying all items. Reason For Change for Pending Change Orders In Release 9.0, the system now displays the Reason for Change when adjusting information on a pending change order on the Change Order Summary page. While you cannot edit these reasons, the system displays for easy reference. Change Order Logs In Release 9.0, users now have an option on draft change orders and pending change orders to view the new Change Order Log. Click the Log button to display the change log in a popup window for viewing. The system records the following information: User ID, Date, Time, and Comment. : 2015 Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 63

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Job Documents Update In Release 9.0, the Job Documents page now displays another line item for documents that you have resent. This list helps you keep track of how often you have resent a document to a customer or vendor. Alternate Ship-To Addresses In the core Eclipse Release 9.0, a new Alternate Ship-To Address window has been added to the Customer Maintenance > Orders menu. This new option lets you store alternate address for users to select through order entry when they do not have the SOE.ALLOW.ADDR.CHANGE authorization key assigned, but need to change the shipping address on a ship-to only customer. For Job Management, this means when managing your Customer Information on the Award Job page from the Info/Settings tab in Job Summary, the Override Ship To Address option displays only if you have the SOE.ALLOW.ADDR.CHANGE authorization key assigned. All users can select the Select Ship To Address, but if they are not authorized, they must select from the pre-defined list of addresses that are active. Additionally, you cannot add a new alternate address without being authorized.. Avalara Tax Calculations In Release 9.0, the new Eclipse Interface for Avalara has been incorporated into the Job Management system. The tax solution can be enabled in Eclipse and used for tax calculations in Job Management. For more information about the Eclipse Interface for Avalara, see Avalara For Eclipse documentation or the Eclipse Interface for Avalara in the Feature Summary for Release Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Pass-Along Freight Charges for Directs In Release 9.0, you can now apply different freight rules to direct sales orders, rather than passing along only the freight for which the vendor has invoiced you. In Job Management, this means you can use the Freight Terms and Freight In Exempt fields on the Receive Material page to adjust these charges, as needed. The system requires authorization for this process and regulates the charges back to the Eclipse sales order or purchase order, respectively. For more information about how pass-along freight for directs works in Eclipse, see Pass Along Freight for Directs Pass Along Freight for Directs in the Release 9.0 Feature Summary Epicor Software Corporation. 74 Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Print Server Path Update Utility Eclipse Forms is a companion product. Companion products are not included in the core functionality with Eclipse DMS, but are available at an additional cost through your Eclipse Salesperson. Customer Request "As an IT manager, I want to be able to move the printers to another server all at once when we upgrade our print servers. This would save me a lot of time." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, the new Eclipse Forms Printer Update Utility provides a way to change your print server path for all associated with that print server. For example, if you have added a new print server which required a new network path, you can change all your printers pointing to the old server all at once. Note: This utility is for Eclipse Forms only. Use the new utility to define the current printer path and the new path to which you want to map your printers. The system searches for currently associated printers and their settings, such as tray mappings, and maps to the new server Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved.

Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 If errors or exceptions are found, such as a mismatch in tray mapping, the system displays them so you can address each printer exception and resolve the issue manually to ensure your printers all map correctly. For more information about the new utility, see Changing Your Eclipse Forms Print Server Path in the Eclipse Forms online help documentation Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 67

To search for a number string within a subset, use the following tags: SearchOIDString - Use this search string to include a specific filter on the sales orders returned. The filter will be done only on the Eclipse OID, such as S Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 73

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 SearchPOString - Use this search string to include a specific filter on the purchase orders returned. The filter only applies to the customer P/O number defined on the purchase order. SearchRelNumString - Use this search string to include a specific filter on the release numbers for all order types returned. The filter only applies to the customer release number. 83 Rel. 9.0 Release 9.0 Epicor University Content Enhancements The following enhancements have been added to the Solar Eclipse online help in Release 9.0. Note: Regardless of the release you are currently running at your place of business, you can access the latest Eclipse documentation through the Customer Support Website. Customer Request - LMS Direct Access from Online Help "As a manager, I want to be able to direct my employees to the right training information for their job. It would be great to have a link within the online help that accessed the courseware on the LMS for that topic." Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, select portions of the Eclipse online help content contain a new quick link to related Learning Management System (LMS) courses. New icons indicate if fees are required, but take you directly to the information you need to see how you can learn more about the area in which you are working. For this release, we focused on General Ledger and Accounts Payable. Below you can see the collapsed link and the listed courses on the expanded link content. Each link opens in its own window, so you can continue to search and review the suggested courses without losing your place in the Eclipse online help content. Customer Request - Web Integration Online Help "As a WOE manager, I want better access to the XML files provided by Eclipse for integration. Right now it's in a 200+ page PDF." 2015 Epicor Software Corporation. All rights reserved. 75

Eclipse Release 9.0 Feature Summary Rel. 9.0 Enhancement Description In Release 9.0, the Web Integration companion product documentation has been fully incorporated into the online help. The new Transaction Set Reference section displays the different areas and you can quickly access the element tag you need: You do not lose any documentation.
