Clearances Designed to assist in implementing, controlling, and executing a plant s tagout/lockout procedure. The system facilitates access and linkage to equipment isolation, work status, and schedule information through interfaces to scheduling software, data historian, and product integration to Asset Suite Work Management. The system incorporates a revolutionary method for tag and lock sharing, which has been proven to save a significant amount of manpower resources during both normal plant operation and outages, without compromising personnel or plant safety. Operator Rounds To ensure that you are getting the most out of plant inspections, the esoms Operator Rounds module is designed to automate the tasks of collecting, computing, and storing data from operator rounds. The system provides personnel responsible for plant operation and performance with a powerful, yet easy-to-use tool for analyzing the data quickly and efficiently. Operator Rounds puts the power and flexibility of complex calculations, trending and analysis at the fingertips of operators both at the desktop and in the field where the likelihood of detecting and preventing equipment problems is greatly enhanced, thus maximizing plant reliability. Equipment The esoms Equipment module is used to assist in the definition and implementation of a consistent organized equipment identification system. The software has the capability to employ multiple types of equipment identification schemes, from rigorously coded IDs to noun descriptions. This affords front-line users of the software the freedom to sue the identification system that they are most familiar with, while maintaining back-end compatibility with other systems and databases. Narrative Logs The esoms Narrative Logs module provides plant operators, supervisors, and managers with an electronic journal for recording and qualifying events that occur during an individual s shift watch. The system tracks shift staffing, plant operating parameters, log entries, associated qualifying data, and web/document links on an individual plant unit and/or staff position basis. In addition to on-demand or template log entries, These automatic log entries are used to document the performance of procedures, tagouts, operator rounds regulatory action compliance, etc. Log entries can also be shared among departments, groups, or even within or across facilities. Notice of Change The Notice of Change (NoC) module provides personnel with a software tool to manage the complete life-cycle of the NoC process. Implementing an NoC process helps to ensure that the personnel are notified of changes to procedures and practices in a timely manner and facilitates access to NoC related information. esoms 3

4 Reporting tools allow management personnel to quickly determine the status of end-user NoC acknowledgement. Also included in the NoC process is the generation, delivery and tracking of automatic notifications from Clearance holder signon/off. Administration The Administration module provides tools for the esoms System Administrator to manage users and their security, manage preferences for all esoms modules, and manage qualifications and associate them to users. AutoPrint To eliminate much of the administrative burden associated with document management issues, the esoms AutoPrint module automates the process of creating, transmitting, and tracking critical operations documents from esoms.
