9 Environment Limit the environmental impact of our operations and growth The aim of the Evolis environmental policy is to integrate ecological concerns into all levels of the company and all stages of its operations. Having the life cycle of a card printer analyzed by independent consultants allowed us to evaluate changes in the environmental footprint of Evolis products and the analysis results have been used to design more environmentally friendly products. Phase by phase, we have acted to reduce our environmental impact, particularly by: reducing the electricity consumption of card printers developing more environmentally friendly consumables: increasing the capacity of the printer ribbons and choosing a recycled and recyclable material for the ribbon cassette.
