This sftware is used in cnjunctin with the Restaurant Pr Express Pint f Sale system. Please make sure t educate the staff that will be using this integratin, n the prper usage in-rder t insure the mst streamlined custmer prcessing experience. 2 Mbile Credit Card Payments Hw d I crrectly clse a transactin t credit card using RPE Mbile? Nte: Befre prceeding yu must make sure that the transactin t be clsed using RPE Mbile, is nt pened n any f the Restaurant Pr Express POS terminals r ther mbile devices. This insures that the invice being prcessed in RPE Mbile, is displaying the mst current invice ttal. When ready t make payment: 1. Press the red Pay Invice buttn lcated in the lwer middle f the RPE Mbile invice screen. 2. When the Amunt Due screen appears, press the Credit Card buttn. 3. Yu will be asked if yu wish t split the transactin, select either Yes r N. Nte: If Yes is selected, yu will be asked fr the number f credit card splits. Yu will then be asked which split t clse ut. 4. After yu have made yur selectin RPE Mbile will pen the Innerfence CC Terminal applicatin, t finish prcessing the transactin. Nte: The staff members using RPE Mbile must NOT change the charge amunt (Subttal) inside in the CC Terminal applicatin. Please make all staff members aware f this. 5. If the CC Terminal applicatin has been enabled t accept tips, staff members can rtate the ipd/iphne device t have the custmer enter a tip value. Pre-cnfigured tip percentages can be selected as lng as they have enabled fr RPE Mbile. 6. Enter the credit card number and expiratin date by swiping the credit card thrugh the Magnetic Swipe Reader (MSR) attached t the ipd/iphne device. If n MSR is attached t the ipd/iphne device yu can manually enter the credit card number and expiratin date. 7. Press the green Charge buttn. 8. If the charge is successful, yu will see a message. Fr Example: Apprved $33.00 VISA xxxxxxxxxxxx Tap the screen which will return yu t RPE Mbile where yu can chse t print r the receipt. The invice is nw clsed. 2 P a g e

3 Mbile Credit Card Payments Hw d I crrectly vid a transactin clsed t credit card using RPE Mbile? On the mbile device that perfrmed the mbile credit card transactin: 1. Press the ipd/iphne Hme buttn. 2. Open the CC Terminal applicatin. 3. Press the back arrw titled Lg lcated in the tp left crner. 4. Lcate the charge amunt yu wish t vid. The transactin can be fund by lking at the amunt, last fur digits f the card number, date that the transactin was prcessed and if the transactin was prcess tday, yu can als search by time. 5. When yu have lcated the charge t be vided, select the transactin frm the list. Nte: Yu can cnfirm this is the crrect transactin t vid by lking at the bttm f the transactin verview screen and searching fr the Invice number. The invice number displayed there will match the invice number frm the Restaurant Pr Express desktp applicatin. 6. In the tp-right crner f the screen, press the small icn that has an arrw lcated in the middle f an utlined bx. 7. Press the red Refund buttn. 8. The terminal will be shwn n screen. T finalize the refund press the green Refund buttn. 9. The CC Terminal will nw shw the transactin as Vided and the amunt that was refunded. On any available Restaurant Pr Express POS desktp statin: 1. Lgin t RPE n the statin then select the Optins r Manager buttn. 2. Select Cashier. 3. Press Recall Invice. 4. Lcate the same invice that yu vided n the mbile device. After lcating the invice hit Select, the invice will then be displayed n screen. 5. Select the Vid buttn. The invice has nw been vided in bth the RPE and the CC terminal applicatin. 3 P a g e

If yu wish t transfer the tab frm the mbile device t the POS terminal statins please d the fllwing: On the mbile device that pened the transactin: 1. Press the blue Save buttn lcated in the tp-left crner f the mbile invice screen. This will insure the invice has been fully updated with the POS. 2. Press the Hme buttn lcated in the bttm-left crner f the applicatin. This will insure that the transactin is nt being pened and/r edited n tw statins at the same time. On any available Restaurant Pr Express POS desktp statin: 1. Lgin with yur emplyee ID and passwrd, r swipe yur card if available. 2. Open the invice: If using the table-layut mde, yu will see the pen table (shwn in green). Select the pen table t pen the invice and cntinue making the necessary changes t custmer s tab. Yu can cntinue editing the invice and accept payment frm the POS statin if necessary. If using the RPE Mbile Custm Names feature yu can select the Open Tabs buttn lcated abve the table layut screen. There yu will see the name f the tabs that were created in RPE Mbile. Select the name f the invice yu wuld like t edit, and the invice will appear n the RPE invice screen. Yu can nw cntinue t edit and prcess the invice. If using RPE desktp in Quick-Service mde yu can press the Manager/Optins buttn, then select Recall On-Hld Invice frm the Cashier sectin. Yu can then select the invice yu wish t pen and cntinue editing/prcessing. T make the prcess smther, yu can cnfigure a tuchscreen ht-buttn frm the Tuchscreen Cnfiguratin windw f the RPE desktp statin. This windw is accessed frm the Manager/Optins screen under the Setup sectin. Activate the Recall On-Hld Invice ht-buttn feature fr the buttn yu wuld like t cnfigure. The transfer frm RPE Mbile t the RPE desktp POS statin is nw cmplete. 4 P a g e

If yu wish t transfer the tab frm a RPE desktp POS statin t a RPE Mbile device please d the fllwing: On any available Restaurant Pr Express POS desktp statin: 1. Create a new rder in RPE n a desktp POS statin. This can be accmplished by ne f the fllwing methds: If using Fine Dining with table service: Select a new table frm the table layut screen then add items t the invice. Or Select the Open Tabs buttn abve the table layut screen then select New Tab, then add items t the invice. If using Quick Service Restaurant: Lgin t the restaurant invice screen then add items t the invice. 2. Place the invice n hld: Select the blue CHECK buttn. This will print a receipt f the invice and place it n hld. Select the red SEND buttn. This will place the invice n hld and if applicable will send a printut t the kitchen fr preparatin. 3. Depending n hw RPE POS desktp has been cnfigured, yu will either be asked t enter a name fr the tab, r the tab will autmatically shw as active n table layut r under the Open Tabs sectin. 4. As a security measure, yu shuld nw lg-ut f the RPE POS desktp statin. The system can als be cnfigured t autmatically lg-ut f the RPE POS desktp statin based n the amunt f time that the system has been inactive. On an available mbile device running the RPE Mbile applicatin: 1. Lgin under the same emplyee id used t create the invice n the RPE POS desktp statin. 2. Press the Open Invices receipt icn lcated in the bttm right crner f applicatin. 3. Select the name r table number f the invice created n the RPE POS desktp statin. The transfer (hand ff) is nw cmplete frm the RPE POS desktp statin t RPE Mbile. 5 P a g e

6 Invice Hand-Offs Can the same invice be pen n bth RPE Mbile and the RPE POS desktp statin at the same time? This is nt a recmmended practice, as RPE Mbile and RPE was nt designed t perate like this. As mentined earlier in this dcument, yu must make sure that the transactin that yu wish t edit/prcess is nt pen n any f the ther terminals r mbile devices. This insures that the invice which is currently pened (n either RPE r RPE Mbile) is displaying the mst current invice ttal. 6 P a g e
