1 Once expense reports have been approved for payment and reimbursed to the submitter, you can use the ExpenseWire Analytics tab to: categorize company spending review historical expense data, and print or export reports. The Analytics Tab Users who have been granted appropriate access rights can chose from a variety of standard reports or customize reports to meet their needs. The Report Listing under the Analytics tab holds over 50 standard reports. The reports are broken down by the following categories: All Expenses All Expense Data Expense History Duplicate Line Items Report All Expenses With Receipts By Expense Type By Type of Month By Type By Type of Month by Paid Date By Type by User By Type By User by Month By Type By Payment Type By Type With Receipts By Payment Type By Payment Type By Payment Type by Month By Payment Type by User By Payment Type by User by Month By Payment Type by Expense Type By User By User by Month By User By User by Type By User by Type by Month By User With Receipts 1

3 Click the + (plus sign) to the left of a header to view reports available in each category. Hover the cursor over a report title to view a brief description of the report. The most recently-accessed and favorite reports are available by selecting the appropriate tab (Recent or Favorites). You can View, Download, or Run Again (with updated criteria). Run a Report To run a report: 1. Select the desired report in the Report Listing. 2. Click the CRITERIA tab to amend the report being run to specify the data included. 3. Click Run Report. 4. Click View or Download. 3
4 View and Export a Report When viewing a report, the top portion displays a graphical representation of the data. The graphical representation may be modified by selecting the Chart Style from the drop-down menu. Note: Graphical representation may not be available on all reports. The bottom portion of the report provides details mined from the graph. The details provided can be adjusted as follows: Subtotals Only Details Only Combination To export the data, 1. Chose the appropriate option next to download. 2. Click Download to display the results in a Microsoft Excel file. 4
5 Report Favorites When a user regularly runs a specific report, assign the report as a Favorite to save the report and criteria for quick access. To save a report as a Favorite: 1. Adjust the report CRITERIA. 2. Click View Report. 3. Click the icon located in the upper left corner of the screen (next to Report: All Expense Data). 4. Type a name for your favorite. 5. Click Save New. 6. Click OK at Your favorite was saved successfully. 7. To view Favorites, click the Analytics tab, and then select Favorites. To run a Favorite report: 1. Click the Analytics tab. 2. Click the Favorites tab. 3. Click the Favorites Name. 4. Update the Criteria. 5. Click Start Report. Note: If a Favorite report no longer meets your needs, click the Favorites tab, and click remove in the Delete Favorites column. 5
