1 New Software Features & Enhancements Groups & Front Office New HTML5 User Experience Both the Group and Front Office modules have been re-written in HTML5. Leveraging this new technology allows us to significantly improve performance, offer compatibility with more browsers and present a refreshed look and feel that considers your usability feedback. Auto-fill group blocks and rates on groups A new feature has been introduced on the re-designed screen which will allow you to quickly fill in group block and rate amounts across multiple dates and room types on each of these screens Room Type and Date Views on Room Matrix The groups room matrix can now be toggled between two different views Group by Room Type Group by Date You can choose the preferred default for your property in: GM Functions Property Settings Default Settings Move existing postings when routing between folios When setting up charge routing between folios, you now have the option to move any existing charges to the folio of your choice. Transfer multiple postings between accounts When transferring charges from either a group or house account, to any other account, you will now have the option to select multiple postings to move at once. Quick print folio Quick Print is a new option on Group and Front Office folios. With one click the folio will print using the default settings for your property. The Custom Folio option is still available for any customer folio to be printed. Export to Excel You are now able to export all results on the search pages of these modules to Excel. Simply click on the Export to Excel buttons at the top of each of these pages to begin. 1

2 Housekeeping Length of stay support when assigning rooms in housekeeping This feature can be enabled in GM Functions Housekeeping Settings by checking the Display LOS for Room Assignments box Once enabled, a new LOS column will appear on both the housekeeping assignment screen and its associated report. For all rooms with a status of Dirty, this column will show either: The Length of Stay of the guest currently checked-in or The Length of Stay of the guest most recently checked-out Display unassigned rooms on housekeeping assignment report A new flag labeled Include Unassigned Rooms has been added to the housekeeping assignment report When checked: A new group of rooms will display, which includes all rooms not assigned to a housekeeper for cleaning. When unchecked: Only rooms that have been assigned to a housekeeper will show on the report 2

3 Reports Ability to include Out of Order rooms as part of RevPAR A new flag labeled Include OOO Rooms in RevPAR is now available on any report showing this metric. When checked: RevPAR calculates Room Revenue (Net) / On Market + OOO Rooms When unchecked: RevPAR calculates as Room Revenue (Net) / On Market Rooms The following reports now have this option available: Availability Booking Pace Manager s Report Reservation Forecast Reservation Dashboard Room Sales Signature Capture Custom configuration of guest display screen This functionality can be found in GM Functions Interfaces Signature Capture This screen allows you to: Choose which reservation information to display to the guest on the signature capture screen Configure any number of pages with custom text in any order you would like them displayed to the guest upon check-in Capture a guest s signature electronically on a registration card Note: this functionality requires a supported chip-enabled EMV device for processing credit cards Once enabled in GM Functions Interfaces Signature Capture, this functionality allows the guest to browse through their reservations information, terms and conditions before signing electronically. This signature is captured electronically on the reservation. 3

4 Software Corrections & Improvements The following items are reported issues from our customers that have been fixed in this release of CloudPM Ambassador Feedback: Show the reference number on the main group folio instead of having to drill down Ambassador Feedback: Added the ability to save group shoulder dates at the same time as creating a new group Ambassador Feedback: Shoulder date options will be hidden for hotels not using this feature on groups Ambassador Feedback: Address and payment type will now copy by default from the group when creating new rooming list reservations Ambassador Feedback: Hotels can now configure the default view for the group room matrix in GM Functions Ambassador Feedback: The rooming list on groups will now display a row for each share or name on the reservation Ambassador Feedback: Improved room matrix performance on contract groups staying an extended period of time (1 year +) 7559 Resolved issue preventing users from removing a room from OOO status 7731 Resolved issue causing the booking rules report to display blank, even when booking rules were configured 7497 Resolved issue causing an error when attempting to cancel a secondary share, when the primary share has a guest count of Best Western Rewards tier levels and descriptions will now save consistently in GM Functions 7617 Next Payment Amount and Estimated Charges will no longer display on folio receipt when rate is confidential 7683 Resolved an issue preventing a share from saving, when an identical cancelled share for the same room exists for the previous day 7790 Resolved issue preventing Tax on Tax from posting correctly when adjusting by line item on some folios 8311 Housekeeping cleaning due date will now appear correctly on the assignments screen as soon as the guest checks in 8727 Improved CloudSync2 reporting mechanism when backups or restores fail 8742 Introduced error message when attempting to upload an unsupported image type for hotel logos 8797 Resolved an issue causing previews to timeout on folios with exceptionally large volumes of transactions 8819 Improved performance on managers report, resolved issue causing timeouts for some customers 8826 Group information will now copy when creating group pick-up reservations using the rate quote tool 8867 Guest son share reservations will now be required to have overlapping nights.
