49 DOGGR Regulatory Statute The Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) is mandated by the California Laws for the Conservation of Petroleum and Gas (Division 3, starting with Chapter 1, starting with Section 3000) and CCR Title 14, Division 2, Chapters 2 and 4) (Title 14) to supervise the drilling, operation, maintenance and abandonment of oil, gas and geothermal wells within California.
