1 RESERVE BANK OF INDIA Empanelment of Vendors for supply of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals to RBI, Thiruvananthapuram and for the Maintenance of its Hardware, Software and Peripherals The Reserve Bank of India, Thiruvananthapuram intends to prepare a panel of reputed vendors for supplying computer hardware, software and peripherals as well as for undertaking maintenance of its hardware, software and peripherals. Separate Vendors Lists will be prepared for supply and for the maintenance of Hardware, Software and Peripherals. Vendors desirous of being included in the Bank s panel of vendors and who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply in the prescribed form. 2 RESERVE BANK OF INDIA Empanelment of Vendors for supply of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals to RBI, Thiruvananthapuram and for Maintenance of its Hardware, Software and Peripherals The Reserve Bank of India, Thiruvananthapuram (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) intends to prepare a panel of reputed vendors for supplying computer hardware, software and peripherals as well as for undertaking maintenance of its hardware, software and peripherals. Separate Empanelled Vendors Lists will be prepared for supply and for Maintenance of hardware, software and peripherals. Vendors desirous of being included in the Bank s panel of vendors and who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned below may apply in the prescribed form. Terms and conditions for empanelment are also given below. The prescribed form duly filled in may be sent in a sealed cover to The Regional Director, Department of Information Technology, Reserve Bank of India, Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram so as to reach him not later than 3.00 P.M Terms and Conditions 1. Empanelment will be for a period of three years subject to satisfactory service. If the service provided by the vendor is found to be unsatisfactory /deficient or if at any time it is found that the information provided for empanelment or for any tender is false, the Bank reserves the right to remove such vendors from the empanelled list. 2. The Bank reserves the right to inspect / verify the facilities of the vendor to verify the genuineness and to ensure the authenticity of the details given in the bid. 3. Vendor will be responsible to ensure that the application reaches the Bank on or before the due date and time. Applications received after the due date and time or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected. 4. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof and will not entertain any correspondence in the matter. 3 Eligibility Criteria for Empanelment of Vendors for supply of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals to RBI, Thiruvananthapuram and for Maintenance of its Hardware, Software and Peripherals For Supply of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals i) The vendors should have minimum experience of three years in the field of supply of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals. ii) They should furnish last three years audited balance sheet. iii) They should have executed at least one order worth `10.00 lakh or above for supply of hardware/ software during the last two years. iv) The vendor should preferably have all India presence with good reputation in the market. They should have presence in at least 2 metropolitan cities and also at Thiruvananthapuram. v) They should furnish details of their clientele which should preferably include banks, FIs, Government Undertakings and other reputed concerns. vi) They should be authorized distributors/ resellers of premium brands of the products sought to be purchased. vii) They should have sufficient experience and proper infrastructure to provide requisite after sale service and support. The vendor should be able to repair hardware/ software immediately, failing which, they will have to provide alternate arrangement to ensure continuity of Bank's operations. viii) The vendors should be system integrators so that both hardware installation and operating system configuration are done smoothly. They should have adequate number of qualified engineers for technical support, when required. ix) They should furnish details of their banker with account number and address of the bank / branch For Maintenance of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals. a) The vendors should have minimum experience of three years in the field of maintenance of Computer Hardware, Software and Peripherals. b) They should furnish last three years audited balance sheet. c) They should have executed at least one order worth `6.00 lakh or above for AMC / facility management during the last two years. d) The vendor should preferably have all India presence with good reputation in the market. They should have presence in at least 2 metropolitan cities and also at Thiruvananthapuram e) The vendor should furnish the list of their clientele who should preferably include banks, FIs, Government Undertakings and other reputed concerns. f) They should furnish details of their banker with account number and address of the bank / branch g) They should have an adequate number of qualified engineers. h) The vendors should have the capabilities to handle AMC for all brands and types of computer hardware, software, peripherals like Servers, PCs, laptops, printers, extant Operating Systems etc.

4 i) Maintenance will also cover facility management like installation / maintenance of system software, RDBMS software, Oracle, Database management, installation of software for digital signature / certificates, win NT systems, Unix OS, all editions of windows operating systems, backup & restoration work, maintenance of servers and related all software management ( except for the user application software), technical support for video conferencing, seminars, meetings, training sessions etc. j) The vendor should be able to repair hardware/ software immediately on receiving the defect report, failing which, they will have to provide alternate arrangement to ensure the business continuity of the Bank. k) The vendors should be system integrators so that both hardware installation and operating system configuration are done smoothly. l) The vendors would be required to station minimum two full time qualified and experienced resident engineers in the Bank during the working days of the Bank from a.m. to p.m. on week days and from a.m. to p.m. on Saturdays (closing time of some of the departments of the Bank may be delayed on certain occasions and the tech support should be extended beyond the closing time on such days without any extra cost to the Bank). Bank approved holidays will be notified to the vendors. Usually, Bank will be closed on Sundays and approved holidays. However, in case of any specific requirement of service engineers on any Sunday / holiday, such requirement will be advised to the vendor and they should provide one engineer on such days without any extra cost to the Bank. m) Any other hardware / software related support as per the requirement of the Bank.
