General licensing: The general license provides the user with open-ended communication with the OEM products. By default, there is no encryption or security configured, allowing for flexibility during integration and testing. This license style is typically reserved for direct end users or platforms and SaaS frameworks that require only a single license deployment. 2. OEM licensing: The OEM license provides the user with a safe, encrypted communication layer between the OEM components and any third-party applications. By default, security settings are in place to limit the type of interaction with back-end systems, preventing security threats and unauthorized access. Proof-of-Concept/Product Evaluation If necessary, Micro Focus facilitates an evaluation period during which time the customer is granted a temporary license and an evaluation package for testing.
