Customer/Contractor: Total Project: Control System Upgrade and Commissioning Description: A crude oil control system upgrade due to obsolescence of flow computers. Alderley s scope of work included the manufacture, test, installation and commissioning of the upgraded control system, designed using the latest technology to ensure it continues to remain reliable, secure and auditable.

Project: Gazprom Neft (Gazprom) Badra Oilfield Development project Description: 2 x 3 Day Gas Flow Metering Systems Training Course for Operators and Maintenance Engineers. The training was conducted at the Badra Oil Field on supplied equipment. Customer/Contractor: Saudi Aramco Project: Yanbu Crude Oil Terminal (YCOT), Saudi Arabia Description: Upgrade of a metering supervisory system that communicated with 34 flow computers. Upgrade included major changes to system architecture, addressing firmware obsolescence, a PLC upgrade and the latest and proven HMI software version (Citect) installation. Customer/Contractor: North Sea Operator Project: Produced Water Treatment Hydrocyclone Upgrade Description: A full review of current process conditions followed by installation and commissioning of Alderley AP20 deoiling hydrocyclone liners into the vessel. Subsequent feedback confirmed that the oil-inwater discharge improved from 30+ mg/l to 16mg/l.

As part of our design studies we can provide 3D models to highlight the different upgrade or modification options. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Alderley can undertake CFD studies. The objective is to optimise the effectiveness of separation technologies with respect to oil removal from produced water. These services are utilised for both minimising equipment footprint while maximising efficiency, together with assessing existing process performance and providing brownfield upgrades. We can provide you with independent inspections, code compliance and systems performance services and propose cost-effective solutions for improvement programmes as needed.
