1 REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK Avenue Joseph Anoma, 01 B.P. 1387, Abidjan, CÔTE d'ivoire Corporate IT Services Department (CHIS) Telephone: (+225) / (+225) Expressions of interest are being requested for SAP ABAP / UI5 Consultant 2. Brief description of the Assignment: The Financial Management Division of the Fiduciary & Inspection department (SNFI) provides amongst others professional leadership in ensuring high quality performance with respect to compliance with AfDB s financial management (FM) policies and procedures in lending operations. One key component of this function is the requirement to ensure that all AfDB-financed projects submit their audit reports on a yearly basis, precisely not later than 6 months after the end of the fiscal year to which the audit applies. The objective of assignment is to develop and implement an automated system that enables SNFI to plan, review and monitor audit reports on all AfDB funded operations (projects and programs) regardless of the type of financing instrument. The system will help in optimizing the working conditions within the SNFI, and facilitate the collaboration between the SNFI and other stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Implementing Agencies and borrowers) on the Bank funded project monitoring. More specifically, the expected benefits include: SNFI's better control of information on active projects, Better planning of audits, Improvement of forecasting management through alerts to executing agencies, Better monitoring and increased traceability of the audit review process Timely and easier sharing of information with all stakeholders. 3. Establishment of the Short List A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of expressions of interest. 5 ANNEX 1: TERMS OF REFRENCE RECRUITMENT OF SAP ABAP / UI5 Consultant 1. BACKGROUND 1.1. The African Development Bank Group (ADB) is a regional multilateral development institution established in 1963 with a mandate to further the economic development and social progress of African countries, individually and collectively. The Bank has approximately 2000 staff members, recruited from a wide geographic area only limited by membership in the Bank. There are currently 80 different nationalities from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas represented within the Bank, making the institution multicultural in every sense of the word. The Bank has two official languages: English and French. It cooperates with a large network of international development partners Corporate Information Technology Services Department (CHIS) The strategic objective of the Corporate Information Technology Services department (CHIS) at the Bank is to align the IT delivery strategy with the Bank s business strategy and increase organizational effectiveness through efficient use of Information Systems (IT). 6 Timely and easier sharing of information with all stakeholders. 3. SCOPE OF THE SERVICES The Consultant s duties will include the following: Gather the Bank s requirements. Design and develop the solution based on users specifications. Transport the developed solution from the Development platform to the Quality Assurance platform in the SAP landscape. Follow up with the users and other key Bank staff in carrying out the quality assurance tests and effect requested amendments and corrections. Provide the required documentation. Ensure seamless integration to existing enhancements and standard SAP modules already in within the Bank. Design and Build Odata services to interact with an SAP UI5 Application for enhanced fiori applications Develop related workflows and alert warnings for the approval processes. Design and develop any required Interfaces to enable proper data exchange between SAP ECC6 and others NonSAP systems using BAPI, PI PROXIES, WEB SERVICES or any SOA integration tools. Provide the required documentation. Ensure knowledge proper transfer to Bank s Staff. Perform any SAP ABAP development based on users specifications. 4. TOR OUTPUTS DELIVERABLES Throughout the engagement period, the consultant will deliver the following: Outline System Specifications Physical data flows. Common routines and utilities. Program specifications or prototypes. Backup, recovery and restart procedures. Program Designs Systems that meet functional design specifications System and program tests System and program documentation Physical System Designs. 5. PROFILE OF THE CONSULTANT The successful candidate should have the following skills and competencies:

7 At least a Master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields. At least 05 years experience in SAP ABAP development in ECC6.0 or higher versions At least 02 Years experience in building/designing Odata services on SAP ( SEGW ) At Least 02 Years experience in building SAP UI5 Fiori Based applications At least 05 years experience in ABAP Workbench Experience of working in a large and complex organization knowledge of SAP configuration and development methods and disciplines Full end to end understanding of SAP implementations, development, and quality and production environments in SAP related competencies such as SAP ABAP (RICEF), Workflow, SAP NetWeaver, and ECC 6.0. Understanding of relational databases, data storage, and SQL concepts. Understanding of data structures and data objects. Functional Knowledge of SAP modules (Finance, Controlling, and Human Capital Management) is a plus. ABAP or SAP UI5 Certification is a plus knowledge of SAP Project System (PS) and Loan Management (CML) and related tables in SAP will be an advantage written and verbal communication skills in French or English is a must. presentation skills. 6. ASSIGNMENT TIMELINE The assignment duration is 03 months renewable one time. 7. REPORTING The consultant will report to the Chief of Corporate Application Services. 8. REMUNERATION The consultant will receive a monthly lump sum be based on the experience and the Bank guidelines on individual consultants remuneration. No additional benefits or per diem will be paid.
