3 Who is BOC? Many people come into contact with BOC every day, because our products and services touch almost every area of business, industrial, commercial and domestic life. BOC is a member of the Linde Group which is a world leading gases and engineering companywith almost 48,000 employees working in more than 100 countries worldwide. Our Business BOC provides gases, equipment, safety and PPE products as well as a breadth of technology services and solutions to the industrial, scientific, hospitality, medical, agriculture, refrigeration and packaged chemicals industries. mine sites, in hospitals and laboratories, in hotels, on farms and in DIY workshops all over the region. BOC also has a substantial welding products business and provides safety equipment, PPE and services to thousands of businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand. As safety is the culture reinforced by BOC employees, this area of expertise is especially valued by customers. In addition to the cylinder business, BOC provides process gas related solutions to customers in the food, metal, petrochemical, oil refining, minerals and other process industries. These gas products are provided to many of our customers via large on-site installations, which supply liquefied gases directly to the customer s site. Products are also supplied via large road tankers into customers on-site storage tanks. BOC also offers technical advice and expertise to help customers improve their processes and products. We continuously search out new applications for our vast range of gases, to help provide better opportunities for our customers. BOC also provides service and maintenance for customer equipment, customer training and engineering consulting service. This ensures optimum and safe use of gases and equipment, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The majority of gas products provided by BOC to customers are in cylinders and BOC owns and manages more than two million cylinders in circulation. These cylinders can be found on construction sites, in factories and workshops on 03

All you need is the internet and you re ready to log into PartnerNET using a unique user identification and encrypted password. Secure online environment PartnerNET is a fully hosted application that allows you to place orders or download account information, including your transaction history online directly from BOC. Messaging Solution It s important that you receive information that s up to date and relevant so we ve introduced a messaging solution that allows you to receive BOC related information necessary for your Gas Agency operations. With no separate address required, My Messages is an easy to use solution that delivers real time communications directly to your PartnerNET account. ** PartnerNET is fully hosted and maintained by us for all our partners, world wide. There are no higher priorities for us than the health and safety of our colleagues, contractors, suppliers, customers and local communities, and protection of the environment. As a BOC Gas Agent, we encourage you to make safety your priority. Please take the time to review the manual and make your Gas Agency staff aware of their responsibility around cylinder safety. BOC has created a Gas Agent Manual which can be found on PartnerNET. This comprehensive safety guide is available at any time for you to view online or print off a copy for your records. 9 Managing your BOC account Invoices Understanding our invoices The difference between statement and invoice is that invoices appear on Blue paper and statements on Green paper. Credits are issued on a separate Credit Adjustment Note (blue). Account Number This helps us identify you. You will often need to quote this number, for example when paying your invoice. Keep your number handy to help BOC quickly identify you. A special service for BOC Gas Agent remuneration Speedy remuneration payment because you have better things to do BOC is committed to making it easier to do business with us. 11 Cylinder Charges Charges associated with cylinders Container Service Charge BOC has a container service charge for all cylinders. As the expert in our field, BOC outlays the capital for new cylinders; repairs, tests and maintains all cylinders; upgrades cylinders and valves to keep pace with new technology, delivering the savings that new technology offers. This gives you the flexibility to swap empty cylinders for full cylinders at any of our locations and take more cylinders as and when you need them and return them when you don t. BOC has developed options to suit a range of customers cylinder payment and business requirements. The table below shows you the benefits of the different options. Handling fees Please note that all handling fees are incorporated into the customers price that you charge them. A handling fee is charged at all Gas & Gear / Gas Agents across Australia. This is for: the transport of full cylinders to the Gas & Gear / Gas Agents and the return of the empty cylinder to our production facility. the capital cost for a Gas & Gear which gives the customer the opportunity to collect his / her gas and equipment immediately instead of waiting for next day delivery. A commission is paid to the Gas Agent per cylinder. administration cost and overheads of the Gas & Gear / Gas Agent network. Container Service Options Select 1 Select 3 Select 12 Select 36 Pay monthly. Ideal for high volume gas users. Pay quarterly & save 2%. Easy payment option for everyone. Pay annually & save 5%. Ideal for steady cylinder holdings. Pay 3 years in advance & save 10%. Ideal for constant cylinder holdings. Notes: 1. The Select 12 and 36 payment options are not suitable if your cylinder holdings change regularly or for Oxycare customers. 2. If some or all of the cylinders are returned before the nominated fixed period expires, no pro-rata credit is provided. Additional cylinders will be charged on a pro-rata basis. 3. This does not apply to bulk vessels. 4. All savings quoted are compared to paying Select 1.
