17 17 Introduction AUI has been committed to the METIS project Co-funding member of the METIS Consortium In charge of Training and Awareness Demonstration in Ifrane: Collect, filter and analyze data gathered by EGNOS System Report any anomaly and/or important comment to take into account in the benchmarking of the performance of this system in the region. 19 Initial Results Position of antenna at 2 instants Difference in these values constitute error Reports of performance of EGNOS, observed at AUI, are generated every 24h in the form of XML and PDF files, and sent to data servers via FTP. 23 Issues occurred during the deployment Setup of the station (PolaRx2 RxControl) Was very easy with the Manual website / RxControl User Manual Occasionnel strange file generated by the software. Data collection process is blocked Using the Pegasus software Need of a specific training about the interpretation of the different data/information's generated by Pegasus

24 Issues occurred during the deployment Setup DoIt.bat Easy to setup, but if there is a problem, very difficult to identify it because DoIt call a lot of other.bat Files Re-execute DoIt need more than 2 hours, eg. if we need to retest the upload process, we have to execute the hole DoIt program Uploading data Some problems with the automatic upload due to Elgazala Firewall Local coordination

25 Elgazala Activities Procurement, purchasing, organization of expedition, monitoring and support of import process and insurance of MEDaCoN Station equipment Antenna site selection. MEDaCoN Station installation, configuration and on-site test Set-up of the on-line access to the remote server One year maintenance of the Station equipments, debugging and installation of new software versions Participation to the Station demo campaign: local assessment of the results with the software provided by the demo coordinator.
