32 HSCN Incident Support Model HSCN has introduced a multi supplier incident model The Incident model enables collaboration between HSCN suppliers with the aim of resolving incidents as quickly as possible Suppliers can contact each others Service Desk directly if they believe the fault to be within that suppliers service boundary This means CNSPs do not have to report all incidents to the Peering Exchange Provider for them to facilitate investigations and conversations, unless the CNSP is unable to determine where the fault is after initial investigations

33 HSCN Incident Support Model SMOP2 within the Obligations Framework states The HSCN Supplier shall collaborate with the HSCN Authority, other NSPs and the Service Coordinator to ensure the HSCN Services provided to the HSCN Consumers meet their contractual requirements. Key Consumer Incident Flow Incident Communication Channel Service Co-Ordinator HSCN Network Service Provider Transition State until 2020 CNSP Service Desk Internet Incident CNSP #2 Peering Network Service Provider Desk ANM BT TN

34 HSCN Incident Support Model The Service Management Addendum provides supporting process information to the OF All severity 1 CNSP incidents need to be notified within 20 minutes from being raised to the NHS Digital Service Coordinator. (Please see the Service Management Addendum for further information). HSCN Suppliers are expected to work together to aid resolution of HSSIs (high severity service incidents) If necessary, the SC can assist with bringing relevant suppliers together to help with multi supplier investigations.

35 HSCN Incident Support Model How can Suppliers help CNSP HSCN Service Management processes used for Stage 2 compliance evidence, to be revisited by staff within CNSP organisations Peering Exchange Provider to list CNSP Service Desk contact number/ details on the Peering Portal The Service Co-Ordinator tracks CNSPs for ongoing compliance of the Obligations Framework The SC will contact CNSP directly when there is non-compliance
