2 : SLA Work Order Job Aid SLA Work Order Overview The SLA Word Order Job Aid explains the process to create and release a Service Order based on Service Level Agreements (SLA). Purpose Use this procedure to process Service Orders based on Service Level Agreements (SLA) where Service Orders are budgeted and no cost recovery will take place. Trigger This type of Service Order is created to provide services to Service Recipient (Internal Client). Service Provider through a SLA agreement has been given the budget upfront to provide the services periodically or on ad-hoc basis. 3 Job Aid: Equipment Update SLA Word Order Scenario Start the transaction with the T-code IW31 to create a Service Order. Alternatively, use the following menu path to start the transaction: SAP menu > Logistics > Customer Service > Service Processing > Order > Service Order > Create (General) Step-by-Step Instructions 1. Enter IW31 in the Command field 2. Click the Enter icon 3. The Create Service Order: Initial Screen displays. Populate the following fields: Order Type: Select ZM05 Plng Plant: Enter the appropriate planning plant Bus. Area: Enter the appropriate business area 4. Click the Enter icon 5. The Create Service Order: Central Header screen displays. Populate the required fields under the HeaderData tab UN Umoja Training Job Aid: Equipment Update Page 2

4 : SLA Work Order Job Aid 6. Click the Operations tab to add details for the services requested per the Service Order 7. Enter Work Centers for the Service Providers selected 8. Enter Control Key to define the type of operation being requested Note: While several control keys are available for choosing, select SM00 Serviceintern (Non-time). This is the default control key for this order type and should be used for all internal activities. 9. For the SM00 control key, enter a short description of the service requested in the Operation short text column UN Umoja Training Job Aid: Equipment Update Page 3

For the SM00 control key, enter the amount of work and duration needed for this service in the Work and Dur. columns Note: If external party (vendor) involvement is required for the service, a Purchase Requisition will be generated automatically from the Service Order. For such operations select the SM03 control key If the External Processing pop-up window displays, enter the Opr. short text, Material Group and other relevant fields UN Umoja Training Job Aid: Equipment Update Page 4

Click the Components tab to enter the necessary components Note: Components can be issued from the Service Providers own stock and/or if external party (vendor) involvement is required for the component, a Purchase Requisition will be generated automatically from the Service Order. The budget for the items will be consumed from the Service Provider s budget or use of stock items 12. Click the Location tab to maintain the account assignment details 13. Verify the Cost Center field Note: This is where the budget will be indicated and will be used to settle the cost of this order. The cost center is of the Service Provider s. 7 Job Aid: Equipment Update 14. To specify the fund associated with the Service Order, click the Goto menu 15. Select the Assignments > Funds Management menu item 16. Ensure the Fund Center for the Service Provider and the SLA cost recovery Fund are accurate UN Umoja Training Job Aid: Equipment Update Page 6

8 : SLA Work Order Job Aid 17. Once the fund is confirmed, click the Goto menu to maintain the settlement rule 18. Select the Settlement rule menu item 19. The Maintain Settlement Rule pop-up displays. Click the without default button UN Umoja Training Job Aid: Equipment Update Page 7

9 Job Aid: Equipment Update 20. Enter CTR in the Cat column 21. Enter the cost center of the actual service recipient 22. Once all the parameters for the Service Order are maintained, click the Status icon to change the status of the Service Order 23. The Change Status screen displays. 10 : SLA Work Order Job Aid Note: This type of Service Order is statistical and no budget approval is required. The Service Provider will use their own stock items or create a purchase requisition for materials from external party (vendor). The budget for all the items will be consumed from the Service Provider s budget. 24. Click the Release icon to release the Service Order UN Umoja Training Job Aid: Equipment Update Page 9

11 Job Aid: Equipment Update 25. Click the Save icon Note: After save and re-open the Service Order, the Sys.Status automatically changes (REL/APPR), since no budget was consumed. 26.
