Kent A. Lackey, P.E. Vice President 5 September 2017 TURNING INFORMATION INTO SOLUTIONS FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENT

AGENDA Overview of Asset360 Implementation of Asset360 with the City of Lawrence and Winston-Salem Successes Future Improvements and Challenges Conclusions and Moving Forward 2

Overview Asset360 is a smart analytics platform that captures, integrates, and analyzes data to optimize plant performance. Allows disparate/separate datasets from different systems to be viewed on a single platform. Process engineers remotely monitor data and suggest operational changes to lower energy and chemical costs and improve plant performance. 3

Smart Integrated Infrastructure Optimize Save energy and chemicals Detect and Diagnose Alerts Issues Management Aggregate and Calculate Merge data Calculate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cost, energy and chemicals Operational Intelligence ASSET360 TM Platform Adaptive Planning 360 view Strategic Planning Maintenance and Reliability Compliance Tactical Planning Develop and track current year plans and budget Risk and Resilience Planning Asset Planning Predictive tool Configure alerts to look for deviations in performance 4

Leverage & Expand Current Systems: Beyond SCADA / PLC Integration of data from any source. SCADA, PLC, LIMS Display and Trend any data in the system regardless of source Raw and Calculated data available for custom trends and charts over any user defined time range Utilize static and real time data sets for disparate data analysis and analysis 5

KPI Capture, Integration & Display KPI s aggregated / integrated across any system. Direct / Calculated KPI s in user definable trends / history Cost, Process, Maintenance Default KPI s Include: Total Cost: Energy, Chemicals, etc. Individual or Aggregated KPI s User Defined KPI s: Can display/use (for calc s) any data captured by an SCADA or asset data collection system. Unlimited User created custom trends with any data 6

Geographically Access Asset Status / Information Immediate visual status of assets geographically Leverages asset data integrated into the system Asset data available without going to another view / tool in ASSET360 Enables potentially faster onboarding for operators / new employees to the operation 7

BI Reporting Tool Reports made with graphs, tables, and gauges from performance analyst Can be used to quickly determine performance of plant 8

Data Explorer Create custom trends from all available data (raw and calculated). Compare relative events using pinning feature. 9

Issues Management Prioritizes issues Calculates impact Allows transparent discussion among engineers and plant staff 10
