1 UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards 2018/19 Categories The Awards provide recognition to UKOUG Partners for the contribution they make by offering their services to Oracle users. The winners are decided exclusively by Oracle customers to portray a true reflection of the view of the community and recognise the value that partners bring to end users. This year we have 17 categories for you to nominate within; 1. UKOUG Analytics Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver a full range of skills and services around Oracle Analytics solutions (excluding Hyperion/EPM) Delivered services (implementation, upgrade, enhancements) relating to Oracle business intelligence (BI) solutions, including OBI, BIF, Data Visualization, OBI Applications, BICS, OAC, DVCS and Big Data Discovery. Implementations can include components based on-premise/hosted or Cloud based technologies. Worked with customers to diagnose & enhance Oracle warehouse capabilities, including resolution of performance issues, changing data model to meet business needs, etc Assisted clients in ensuring they utilise Oracle Analytics solutions efficiently Worked with users and organisations to ensure their business and data models are aligned Clients should vote based on a partner's ability to demonstrate: Product knowledge Quality and relevance of work being carried out An innovative approach to Analytics product utilisation Reporting / monitoring / customer services An ongoing, internal competency in Analytics solutions & products Achieved a significant cost saving through optimised infrastructure or business processes

UKOUG Business Transformation Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners embracing and working with new innovative solutions or technologies from Oracle and where those solutions have enabled fundamental changes in the customer s ways of working. Developed and/or delivered an implementation of a new solution or technology that has evolved and improved the customer's business processes Significantly enhanced standard business practice for a company but not simply through the use of a 3rd party solution Provided solutions that complement and extend traditional Oracle solutions Significantly change the way an organisation carries out it's day to day business, realising cost savings, efficiencies and other improvements across multiple business areas Clients should vote based on a partner's ability to demonstrate: Innovation, out-of-the-box thinking and in-depth business knowledge Quality and relevance of work being carried out Relevance of work based on current and future business needs and capabilities

3 3. UKOUG CX Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver a full range of skills and services around Oracle customer experience (CX) solutions. Delivered services (implementation, upgrade, enhancements) relating to Oracle Customer Experience (Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, CPQ Cloud & Service Cloud) Solutions Helped client to identify a critical point(s) using Customer Experience Journey Mapping and provided an innovative solution with an Oracle CX solution Provided an innovative implementation approach to an Oracle CX solution, or a unique viewpoint/capability within one or more Oracle CX products Augmented one or more of CX products through a customisation, enhancement etc, to add value to the existing product set, either as a customer-specific piece of work or available to the community as a whole Drive system usage through training, resources etc. to utilise Oracle CX solutions efficiently Clients should vote based on a partner's ability to demonstrate: Product knowledge Quality and delivery of service to the Customer through Customer Satisfaction Measurement An innovative approach to Oracle CX product utilisation Reporting / monitoring / customer services

UKOUG Data Integration Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who, working with the Oracle Data Integration Suite including PaaS and also Big Data variants, have enabled their customers to create and run agile and intelligent business applications, and maximise IT efficiency by leveraging modern hardware and software architectures. Delivered services (implementation, upgrade, enhancements) relating to Oracle Data Integration solutions Implemented a Data Integration solution Successfully migrated a client to the latest Data Integration offerings (either from alternative vendors or older releases), including any business and data transformation activities required Delivered or migrated a Data Integration solution Provided an innovative implementation approach to Data Integration solutions Enhanced Oracle Applications or Analytics through the delivery of Data Integration solutions Empowered users through training, resources, etc. to utilise Data Integration efficiently Clients should vote based on a partner's ability to demonstrate: Product knowledge on Data Integration Suite, including; ODI, GoldenGate, Advanced Data Guard, EDQ, Metadata Manager and also on PaaS Data Integration (such as GGCS, ODICS, ODIPC etc) or on Big Data Integration (such as ODI for Big Data, GG for Big Data etc) Quality and relevance of work being carried out An innovative approach to Middleware product utilisation Reporting / monitoring / customer services An ongoing, internal competency in Data Integration products

5 5. UKOUG Database Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver a full range of skills and services around Oracle Database solutions. Delivered a database implementation, that resulted in significant business value for the customer, involving an install or major upgrade, which may have included data migration (from either an older release, or different database). This should be a complex migration (cross platform, from de-supported versions etc), or an extensive database farm, rather than just a minor release upgrade. Implemented, enhanced or performed a significant upgrade to an "advanced configuration" e.g. RAC, stretched RAC, Container Databases Implemented, upgraded, enhanced or migrated to a DBaaS solution based on Oracle technology (including Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, etc) Implemented advanced features e.g. Database Vault, Audit Vault, in-memory, GoldenGate for replication etc Implemented Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture Clients should vote based on a partner's ability to demonstrate: Product knowledge Quality and speed of the install / migration / transition An innovative approach to install / migration / outage time Quality of enhancements An ongoing, internal competency in database products

UKOUG EPM Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver a full range of skills and services related to Oracle Hyperion and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions, including Oracle EPM Clouds Services such as PBCS, FCCS, ARCS, Tax Reporting etc. Delivered an Oracle EPM implementation including Hyperion and/or performed a major upgrade either on-premise or in the cloud Provided services (design/implementation, upgrade, enhancements or advisory) relating to Oracle EPM Hyperion/cloud platforms Provided an innovative implementation approach to Oracle EPM Hyperion/cloud platforms, or a unique viewpoint / capability related to the product Empowered users through resources, etc. to utilise Oracle Hyperion/cloud efficiently and effectively Developed/delivered any innovative accelerator tools that sit on top of the EPM product suite to allows the client to better manage their financial processes Product knowledge Quality and speed of the implementation / migration / transition, including successful migration from on-premises Hyperion solution to Oracle cloud version An innovative approach to the implementation / migration / transition Quality of innovation and enhancements Advisory/support and handholding during the project implementation and go-live

UKOUG ERP Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who cover any Oracle ERP applications including SaaS (ERP/Financials Cloud), Oracle E- Business, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards Implemented a SaaS-based Oracle ERP/Financial Cloud solution, either as a net new project/customer or migration/upgrade from existing Oracle systems Performed a complex upgrade of an Oracle on premise application solution (EBS/JDE/PSoft) to the latest release. This upgrade should include a significant number of legacy customisations. The solution could include reimplementation of these customisations, or re-engineering of the product to remove them Demonstrated significant improvements in the use and operation of an existing Oracle ERP Application Migrated an Oracle on premise application solution (EBS/JDE/PSoft) solution to Cloud architecture Product knowledge, including a demonstrable understanding of the product lifecycle and it's impact on the business Quality and speed of the install / migration / transition An innovative approach to install / migration / outage time Business case analysis methodology, and appropriateness of solution

UKOUG HCM Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who cover any Oracle ERP applications deployed as SaaS (HCM Cloud), Oracle E-Business on premise/hosted or PeopleSoft Implemented a SaaS-based Oracle HCM Application solution, either as a net new project/customer or migration/upgrade from existing Oracle systems Demonstrated significant improvements in the use and operation of an existing Oracle HCM Application Performed a complex upgrade of an Oracle on premise HCM application solution (EBS/JDE/PSoft) to the latest release. This upgrade should include a significant number of legacy customisations. UKOUG Industry Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who have shown a specific and specialised knowledge in an industry sector, and it's associated products e.g. Retail, Public Sector, Communications etc. Has utilised Oracle products and/or services specifically built for the specialised industry sector e.g. Oracle Retek, Oracle Automotive etc. Has shown an understanding of how to implement Oracle products and/or services in that specific industry sector, and created a unique solution accordingly Show a competency in the Oracle specific products related to the industry sector, and how to optimise / implement them in a manner suitable for the situation Product knowledge, including a demonstrable understanding of the product lifecycle and it's impact on the business Quality and speed of the install / migration / transition An innovative approach to install / migration / outage time Business case analysis methodology, and appropriateness of solution

10 10. UKOUG Innovative Product Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver innovative products relating to any Oracle solution. If you are an ISV with a product that has been created or manufactured by its own company and which then runs with or operates upon Oracle products then you should apply for the UKOUG ISV Partner of the Year Award. Delivered an innovative and unique product based on any Oracle solution. This could be customer-specific, or available to the community as a whole Through use of a custom or bespoke product, shown a significant cost saving / improvement for a customer. Used a customer's existing Oracle estate, to deliver cost savings or improvements in service though an innovative use of new technology Uniqueness, originality and quality of the product The meeting of client expectations (cost, time, quality) Enrichment of the Oracle experience through the delivery of a unique and innovative solution

UKOUG Innovative Service Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver innovative consultancy services relating to any Oracle solution Provided a methodology or process which eases a customer's implementation, upgrade or migration of an Oracle product, beyond what is generally available Shown a significant cost saving / improvement in a customer's day to day operation through the implementation of a service enhancement without an significant spend on new infrastructure or products Uniqueness, originality and quality of the service The meeting of client expectations (cost, time, quality) Enrichment of the Oracle experience through the delivery of a unique and innovative solution

UKOUG ISV Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who sell a product that has been created or manufactured by its own company and which then runs with or operates upon Oracle products. Developed a new (within the last 12 months), unique commercial solution within the marketplace, which utilises Oracle products (hardware or software), and markets that product as a stand-alone offering Significantly enhanced the capability of an existing solution which the partner was responsible for developing Offers services around this solution to allow for integration with Oracle Quality of the product Additional services (training, implementation, collateral, integration etc.) offered Product support

13 13. UKOUG Managed Services (Outsourcing and Operations) Partner of the Year Award - Applications This award is for partners who deliver excellent managed services around Oracle Applications. Supported a major Oracle (or mixed architecture) estate as "Managed Service", involving multiple environments for one or more Oracle products, e.g. Databases, E-Business, CX, OBI, SOA, FMW, Siebel Worked with the customer to ensure support and certification compliance and in some way enhanced the customer's experience of Oracle Worked with the customer to ensure license compliance for Oracle products as the environment changes Applied major patches / implemented changes in line with local legislative changes & requirements, e.g. TYE, SBO, DPA Providing guidance and advice of current certified and supported configurations Supporting custom built code which enhances the application experience for the customer Utilised and adopted industry standards e.g. ITIL, CEMLI Software support including regular patching Product knowledge Quality and speed of issue resolution An innovative approach to environment management Reporting / monitoring / customer services An ongoing, internal competency in remote or on-site management of customer systems

14 14. UKOUG Managed Services (Outsourcing and Operations) Partner of the Year Award - Technology This award is for partners who deliver excellent managed services around Oracle Technology. Supported the technology platform for a major Oracle (or mixed architecture) estate as "Managed Service", involving multiple environments for one or more Oracle products, e.g. Databases, E-Business, CX, OBI, SOA, FMW, Siebel Providing Infrastructure support, including both physical and Cloud based environments Operating system patching, security reviews, PEN testing etc Managing hardware refresh / vendor support compliance Worked with the customer to ensure license compliance for Oracle products as the environment changes Utilised and adopted industry standards e.g. ITIL, CEMLI Product knowledge Quality and speed of issue resolution An innovative approach to environment management Reporting / monitoring / customer services An ongoing, internal competency in remote or on-site management of customer systems

UKOUG Middleware Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who, working with the Oracle Middleware technology portfolio including PaaS, have enabled their customers to create and run agile and intelligent business applications, and maximise IT efficiency by leveraging modern hardware and software architectures. Delivered services (implementation, upgrade, enhancements) relating to Oracle Middleware solutions Implemented a Middleware solution (including both on-premise and Cloud products) Successfully migrated a client to the latest Middleware offerings (either from alternative vendors or older releases), including any business and data transformation activities required. This is specifically targeted at the new Middleware products like Integration Cloud Services (ICS) Delivered or migrated a Middleware solution Provided an innovative implementation approach to Middleware solutions Enhanced Oracle Applications through the delivery of Middleware solutions Empowered users through training, resources, etc. to utilise Middleware efficiently Product knowledge (Fusion Middleware, SOA, ODI, BPEL, BEA etc) Quality and relevance of work being carried out An innovative approach to Middleware product utilisation Reporting / monitoring / customer services An ongoing, internal competency in Middleware products

UKOUG Systems/Infrastructure Partner of the Year Award This award is for Partners who offer innovative use of any part of the Hardware, Infrastructure or Engineered Systems or conjoined PaaS/IaaS offerings from Oracle. Delivered, commissioned, configured or implemented a new solution on Oracle-based Hardware or Infrastructure including (but not limited to): Exadata, Exalogic, Database Appliance (ODA), Big Data, SuperCluster, Sparc. Sun x86, Blade and Netra servers, ZFS, SAN, Tape and Flash Storage, Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux Operating systems, Oracle Virtualization and Oracle Enterprise Manager Delivered, commissioned, configured or implemented a new solution as above but cloud provisioned (IaaS), providing the underlying hardware/infrastructure is based on Oracle technologies Utilised Oracle monitoring technology (e.g. OEM) across an entire estate, which could include non-oracle based technology, but must be predominantly Oracle-centric Product knowledge Quality and speed of the install / migration / transition An innovative approach to install / migration / outage time Overall integration of Oracle hardware and infrastructure components

UKOUG Training Partner of the Year Award This award is for partners who deliver excellent training on Oracle Applications or Oracle Technology Delivered training to end users or other trainers, relating to any Oracle Applications or Technology products or supporting services Provided training resources (website, software etc.) Enhanced a user's or organisation's Oracle experience through training Developed tools to assist with training and delivery of training Quality and appropriate delivery of training, either via web, classroom or offline methods The ability to customise and adapt training to end-users' specific needs Use of tools (e.g. UPK) Reporting / monitoring / customer services About UKOUG UKOUG exists to serve the Oracle community in the UK and Ireland.
