3 Our History Boelwerf shipyard is founded by Bernard Boel on the banks of the river Scheldt near Antwerp Exmar evolved from the shipping activities of the CMB group with Exmar Ship Management as inhouse manager (former Tecto) Delivery of Excelsior the world s first floating regasification vessel. First operations in GOM during Hurricane Katrina With the EXMAR LPG and LNG fleet under its supervision, EXMAR Ship Management obtains ISO 9001 for its operations February Caribbean FLNG is undocked and enters the East China Sea. Philippe Saverys took over the management of the shipyard. Construction of the LPG carrier Coral Temse November 1st full cargo LNG Ship-to-Ship transfer at sea at Scapa Flow & regas operation at Teesport UK following the first commercial STS operation in Gulf of Mexico in 2006
