October 2011 Release Highlights DevExpress reports are now available in the Web UI General purpose querybased dashboard components Synchronization of grading programs between Innova and M3000/4700 graders Stock status and movements report Rader in-feed workstation comparison report Innova What s New? Innova Release The latest Innova upgrade was released in October 2011, with added features and support. Innova Web user interface Existing DevExpress reports can now be viewed using the Innova Web user interface (UI). Query-based dashboard components The Innova dashboard system now includes web-based general purpose data components. The components can be used to display data from a database query in a number of ways. The supported components are: Tables Line charts Bar charts Pie charts Histograms Gauges The data used by the component can also be viewed as a report. Top 10 alarms report Led-panel dashboard component Connection from MarinePack to Danish E-log system Improved IPC station for pack queues PDA usage log Report package for PDS-NT Lot traceability and recall reports Configuration status alert for process units

Grading programme synchronization Grading programmes can now be synchronized with 4700 and M3000 grader types. Programme changes made on the grader can be imported into Innova and existing programmes in Innova can be exported to the grader. On 4700 graders, changes to programmes that originate from Innova are automatically imported if the change is made on the 4700 when connected to Innova (this is currently not supported on M3000). New programmes must always be manually imported. Rader in-feed workstation comparison report A new report compares how in-feed station operators are assigning quality to incoming product in a relative bar chart. The report is also available for IPCs. Stock status and movements report An inventory status and movements report has been added. The report uses two inventory snapshots to create an overview of movements from and to the inventory. Top 10 alarms report This new report allows the user of Innova to see the top 10 alarm occurrences with the highest duration for one or more plug-in over a period of time. With this report the user (technician, factory manager) can quickly see where the problems within the factory are. When the user opens the report, a criteria dialogue will be shown in which it is possible to select the following items:

Time period where the alarms occurred Plugin that logged the alarm Alarm source/owner The top part of the component shows detailed information on the highest priority alarm which has occurred, while the bottom part shows other active alarms arranged by the time at which they occurred. The middle section is a representation of the physical LED plate mounted in the control cabinet. A reset button can be added to the bottom of the control which will reset the alarms on the LED plate. A tooltip is available for each LED in the middle section providing the user with a description of the alarm relating to the LED. When the user clicks the LED, a message box is displayed showing detailed information about the alarm. LED panel dashboard component The purpose of this web-based dashboard component is to show the current state of the LEDs on an alarm panel, as well as a list of occurred and resolved events/alarms. In addition to the component shown above, there is also a component which displays only the actual LED values.

Marine Pack features Send catch data from MarinePack to Danish E-Log system A new haul status screen has been added to the MarinePack solution. From this screen it is possible to select a haul and export it to the Danish ELog system. PDA usage Log A global PDA handler parameter can now be configured with a log message. This allows any handler to produce a usage log entry when the feature is used. When starting or ending a trip, this is also exported to Elog as arrival and departure messages. Further details are available in the installation guide and user guide for MarinePack. WebService for integration to 3rd-party systems The WebService allows 3rd-party systems to control the operation of MarinePack systems. The service includes the following commands: Create a trip Create a haul Get catch data Improved IPC station for pack queues The IPC pack queue station used in salmon packing systems has been significantly improved and can now be used instead of M2200 stations in manual checkweighing lines. Combined tare method Innova now supports a Combined tare method (box tare + multiple item tares). This requires the 1066.lua and compatible M2200 firmware. Report package for PDS-NT Innova now contains a set of reports that combine data from the PDS-NT database and the Innova database. These reports are: GP container weight GP flock weight Slaughter yield Primary yield Weight histogram Button-box AQS Customizable flock report. This report can be configured by a service technician based on various data-sources and calculated values. Using this method, the scale operator can set a box tare either manually or by using a preset tare. Innova can then add a calculated tare based on the number of items in the box and a fixed tare per item.

Preview for StreamLayout Support has been added to preview StreamLayout labels designed for Intermec printers, using the Fingerprint protocol. In addition, all label preview handling has moved to the Innova server, offering the following advantages for Windows-label types, NiceLabel and Bartender: No labelling software needs to be installed on the client. No printer needs to be installed on the client. The client does not need to be able to access the label layout file on the server. Comformat Previews Label layouts for AEW Delford Weight Price Labelling machines can now be previewed in Innova. These layout types are called Comformat layouts. Configuration status alert for process units The Process Units control form contains a new column which displays the configuration status of the process units. The screenshot below shows an example a process uni with a configuration error. Error information provided by the application is displayed in the preview text part of the grid below the error line. This functionality is currently only implemented in Innova Grading.

Trimmer Bonus calculation The employee performance reward system that exists in the MPS system and has been used by Icelandic fisheries for many years has been implemented in Innova. The system uses data on employee throughput, yield and defects to calculate how much bonus an employee should receive. Lot traceability and recall reports Innova now includes a set of traceability reports that can be used to trace product units and lots back to raw material and to trace raw material to product units and lots. The following example shows the POs used in a lot, further lots that the lot was used in and the IDs of all packs and pallets that the lot was used in. WPL development Support for Converger input There is now support for input convergers in front of the WPL. For each input channel it is possible to select the product or a parent product. The selection list can be filtered for each lane using product lists. When progressing automatically through orders, the set of available order lines is defined by the selected product or selected parent product.
