David Fox Director, UK MIET Andrew Tate MIET Technical Facilities Director Paul Roche BEng (Hons) CEng MIET Head of Facilities Systems and tools To enable us to deliver service and technical excellence and seamlessly integrate with client systems, we deploy a range of industry standard software under our high performance platform, which includes a fully structured Facilities Management solution that features contract management capability. Project control The project control software product is a system developed by ourselves using standard Windows applications (ensuring the client avoids unnecessary costs for licencing fees), which sits on a designated server allowing access by your project teams within the building or via remote access over the web. Each gateway on the process is a hyperlink to a predetermined template for project documentation (set up by our people). As well as driving the projects the system also acts as a depository for all project information. Hyperlinks at each gateway lead to each project document. The setting up of the system is fairy straight forward, once we have a defined project methodology/process. The creation of the bespoke software, the templates that sits behind each gateway and loading the software system on the designated server (provided by the client) can be undertaken in approximately six weeks. David Fox, Director with Hurley Palmer Flatt, is a member of the Sales Board and heads the development of our CAD and software platforms.
