12 Special terms In order to have access to the benefits of this Programme ( Programme ) all ProAdvisors members are required to accept the terms of the ProAdvisor Programme Agreement ( Agreement ) as part of the sign up process for QuickBooks Online. The current Agreement can be found at The programme is open only to UK based ProAdvisors. In addition to the terms of the Agreement the following provision shall apply to the Programme: 1. Payroll functionality is free until 31 December 2016 for your clients with bill me options (expand)/ Thereafter, it will be charged at 1 per active employee, per month (plus VAT). Payroll functionality will be available to all customers with an active trial or subscription to QuickBooks Online. Recommended for employers having no more than 50 employees. 2. Data migration. Intuit agrees to make available free of charge capabilities to move data from Sage Desktop (Sage 50 and Instant Accounting 2008 (v14) or newer (UK versions only, files ending.001), uploading from Excel into CSV, Kashflow and QuickBooks Desktop (QuickBooks Standard, Pro or Premier 2008 or more recent (UK versions only). Files ending.qbb,.qbw or,qba, limited to 2 years of data to migrate. Such migration service may be provided by one of Intuit s third party service provider whose terms of service the ProAdvisor will be required to accept in order to migrate to obtain the service. Intuit is not a party to such terms of service and disclaims any liability in relation to the performance of the migration service. The offer under this clause is subject to availability and to Intuit being able to continue the provision of the conversion service either through a third party or directly. Please review the data files after the conversion process, as it is the ProAdvisors responsibility to verify completeness and accuracy of all converted client data files. 3. UK based expert phone support. Intuit offers a dedicated UK-based accounting professional support tea, of QuickBooks experts to deal with accounting professional queries. The team are on hand to help 8am-8pm Monday to Friday [excluding bank holidays]. 4. Implementation specialists for setting up your clients on QuickBooks. For ProAdvisors from Silver level upwards our dedicated team of Implementation Specialists will be available to help you get your clients setup on QuickBooks. They will work with you to assess clients fit for QuickBooks and as you grow with our ProAdvisor Programme you can have access to the support by the Implementation Specialists applicable to your Status Level. This service is available for the first 90 days after adding a client to QBOA. Call your Account Manager to obtain access to the service. For Silver and Gold ProAdvisors, Implementation Specialists service will be provided only via phone. Platinum ProAdvisors setting up a minimum of 10 clients at one time can take advantage of our onsite Implementation Specialist service. The Implementation Specialists aim to acknowledge the applicable Implementation Specialists service requests within the next working day and work with you to schedule the provision of the Implementation Specialist services at a mutually agreed convenient time subject to availability of Intuit personnel. Migration of data is subject to a suitability assessment by Intuit. 5. Discounts on recommended partner add-ons for your practice and your clients. These are third party App-On offerings that Intuit, at Intuit sole discretion, may include in the ProAdvisor Programme. These services are provided by third party whose terms and conditions of service the ProAdvisor and/or the client will be required to accept in order to obtain the services. Additional fees may apply. Please speak to your Account Manager for further details. 6. Onsite classroom training for your staff and for your clients. Any ProAdvisors benefiting from our onsite Partner Training at Gold status, must (i) provide the venue for the training session; (ii) make available appropriate tools and resources required for the delivery of the service as reasonably requested by Intuit; and (iii) ensure a minimum of 8 attendees otherwise a fee may be incurred. Each of our onsite services will be provided once per firm in any 12 month period. Additional sessions may be mutually agreed in special circumstances or for ProAdvisors with multiple offices. All our training services are based on content and curriculum determined by Intuit and subject to availability and subject to change. Call your Account Manager to obtain access to the training. 7. Funding for additional marketing activities. A one off Marketing fund is available to ProAdvisors within 90 days of reaching a new tier. 150 is provided when a ProAdvisor reaches Silver, 300 when a ProAdvisor reaches Gold and 900 when a ProAdvisor reaches Platinum. In order to obtain the payment of the marketing fund applicable to the ProAdvisor Status Level the ProAdvisor must meet the following conditions: a. As per the ProAdvisor Programme tier level sign up to QuickBooks Online the correct number of Eligible Client. Eligible Client for the purpose of this offer is any client who has activated the paid subscription to QuickBooks. b. Provide proof of completed marketing activity which took place and related invoices. c. The marketing activity must follow the agreed guidelines and requirements including promotion of firm services and QuickBooks Online in order for the marketing funds to be paid out. Once you have reached the above minimum amount of Eligible Clients and set them up in QuickBooks Online Accountant, contact Intuit to obtain written confirmation of the offer and details on how to claim it. Provided Intuit is satisfied that you have met all the above criteria and that the marketing activity, at Intuit s sole discretion, is in line with the guidelines and requirements, the marketing fund applicable will be paid within 30 days after the receipt of your invoice. d. ProAdvisors will be eligible to receive a marketing consultation delivered via webinar for Silver tier and for Gold and Platinum tier via a one to one phone consultation Terms, conditions, pricing, features and support options on the Programme are subject to change without notice. 12
