1 ENQ.NO: /01/2016 TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF CTS-2010 COMPLIANT MICR GRADE SECURITY PAPER OF 95 GSM GRADE WITH DENA BANKS & CTS 2010 WATER MARK. Sealed quotations are invited from the following IBA approved MICR grade security paper manufacturers / their authorized Agents /Suppliers for supply of CTS-2010 standard compliant MICR grade security paper of 95 GSM Grade with CTS-2010 INDIA and Bank s water mark as per specified design of IBA/RBI/NPCI. The paper is to be delivered directly to the empanelled security printers of the Bank as per the dispatch details to be provided by the Bank. M/S Pudumjee Pulp & Paper Mills Ltd. 6. M/s Seshasayee Paper and Boards Ltd. 7. M/s West Coast Paper Mill Ltd. Note: - We have given the present list of paper manufacturers available with the Bank, however the Bid is open for all IBA approved manufacturers of paper whose name is not mentioned above. A) The following documents are to be submitted along with the tender in the separate envelope: 1. Test Certificate from National Test House (Govt. of India) should accompany your tender certifying that the paper manufactured by the Mills, comply with the entire test requirement for MICR cheque paper. 2. Certification number allotted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (ISI). 3. You should have supplied CTS-2010 compliant MICR grade paper to Nationalized Bank (Banks)quantity minimum 75 tones and copy of Purchase Order given by the Bank and their

2 satisfactory report about the quality of paper and its usage must enclosed along with the tender enquiry. (The paper manufacturers/their authorized Agents / suppliers who do not fulfill the above criteria are liable to be rejected). B) Specification and size of paper. 1) MICR grade security paper of 95 GSM with CTS-2010 INDIA & DENA BANK water mark only. 2) In reel form 43cms. C) Quantity of MICR Paper required - 75 tones (net weight). At following destinations. Chennai, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The quantity of the paper to be dispatched to the above destinations will be informed by the Bank subsequently. D) Delivery: At Security Printers Factory / Go down in Chennai, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. E) Tender format and terms and conditions as per annexure A and B to be subscribed in separate envelopes. F) Rates should be quoted for paper in Reel form per ton inclusive of all i.e. excise duty, cess, all other taxes, Octroi and cost of transport/ handling/transit etc. for destination at Chennai, Mumbai and Navi Mumbail. The lowest rate (L1) will be arrived at on the basis of gross price of paper per ton inclusive of all i.e excise duty, cess, all other taxes and cost of transport/ handling/transit. Octroi etc. At printers go down in Chennai, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai separately. 3 Tenders are available on Banks Website. from 11/01/2016 to 25/01/2016 and should reach us on or before 25/01/2016 up to p.m. failing which it will not be considered. Tender will be opened on 27/01/2016 at 3.00 p.m. at the address given herein above. Changes if any, for opening the tender will be advised over telephone to all the bidders. Bidders desirous of attending tender opening may remain present on the day and timing given. TERMS AND CONDITIONS :- 1) CTS-2010 Compliant MICR cheque paper with Banks Watermark to be supplied must strictly adhere to the stipulated norms by the RBI/IBA/NPCI and our Bank. 2) Please quote net rate per ton for reels for paper mentioned above inclusive of excise, all taxes, transport / handling charges (excluding the weight of packing materials/reel etc) separately for delivery at Chennai, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai. No cost towards Dandy Roll shall be paid / reimbursed by the Bank separately. Your tender must indicate the breakup of basic mill rate, discounts, excise duty, taxes, octroi, transport / handling cost. Delivery to our printer s godown at the destinations mentioned above. After issue of Purchase Order, if due to any changes in excise duty, taxes, octroi etc. is reduced, the same is required to be passed to us and similarly Bank may consider paying additional amount upon production of proof if the rates are increased. 3) You should have supplied CTS-2010 compliant MICR grade paper to Nationalized Bank with the Banks water mark, quantity minimum 75 tones and copy of Purchase Order given by the Bank and their satisfactory report about the quality of paper and its usage must enclosed along with the tender enquiry. The paper manufactured and supplied will bear Bank s Water Mark with CTS-2010 India water mark (any deviation shall be liable for rejection). 4) You are advised to quote the rate including cost of Dandy Roll of Dena Bank, CTS-2010 India and Dena Bank s Water Mark along with the details of Dandy roll manufacturers; otherwise the tender is liable for rejection. 5) You should forward a separate copy of document from the Mill giving the basic mill rate of MICR cheque paper less discount as on the date of your tender. 6) The entire delivery process of part / full order placed must be completed through IBA approved transport operators, within 4 weeks from the date of receipt of our firm order at your sole risk and responsibility, otherwise 2% per month will be charged for the delayed period. Short supply of the paper will not be accepted. 7) Payment will be made only after the receipt of the confirmation from the printers as regards quantity, quality of the paper supplied. 8) It may be noted that once the order is accepted, you will be bound to execute it within the period specified and there after no request for increase in rate will be entertained on any ground.

4 9) This is only an invitation for Tender and should not be construed as an order. 10) No advance will be paid against order, if any placed. 11) If after the delivery of the MICR cheque paper it is discovered that the paper supplied is not exactly in the above mentioned specifications/ quality such supply will be rejected at your cost. You will also forward to us an undertaking to the effect that you would compensate the bank for same including the cost of funds and the loss incurred by the bank. 12) Your tender containing aforesaid detailed requirements will only be considered. Tenders which are vague and carry contra conditions will not be considered. 13) Omission in compliance to any one of the aforesaid details may disqualify your tender. 14) The Bank need not necessarily accept the lowest tender and the decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. 15) The tender should be submitted in the prescribed format which is to be downloaded from the Bank s web-site: 16) The quotation should be valid for at least six months from the date of acceptance of the order and Bank at its discretion may split the order as per its requirement and time to be delivered at go downs of printers at places mentioned above within the period of six months.
