3 How does it work? All of our systems are extremely simple to install and operate. You just simply load the software on to a PC, give the data readers name, name to the location points e.g. Rear Fire Door Lower Level or Marks and Spencers Area 1, put the location points in place and you are ready to go. If using the event book just give each button a term e.g. Report door or window open. Your operative then just goes about their duties. When they reach a point that they have to register at they simply touch the button with the Data Reader, it will beep and a light will flash red to show a positive read and that s it. Internally the reader has recorded this information with a date time stamp. This information is held in the reader and when the reader next downloaded the information will be extracted by the software and put into the report generator. Should an operative have to report an incident at a certain location,, they just touch the relevantly name button in their event book and once again this will be recorded to the exact second and sent to the report generator the next time the reader is downloaded. Each Data Reader will hold up to 10,000 touches of a button so there is no worry about losing any important information. Once downloaded, you can then use the simple but comprehensive report facility to search for information. You can search by area, date, time, personnel, readers, or produce a report based upon your own criteria. A report can be generated between a specified start date and time and end date and time with optional filters on location point, personnel and event name. When you are happy with the selection criteria the report can be printed or saved electronically so that it can be ed. Reports can also be exported to Excel for further analysis.

4 The L2000P Hand Touch reader At the centre of all good Guard Patrol system is a rugged vandal-resistant data reader. We have three options in our range a low cost proximity version that reads RFID based checkpoints and two touch based systems with two different sizes of Touch Button readers. The Minitool Hand Touch readers, use a touch based system to extract a unique serial number that is contained on a microchip that is located inside a stainless steel touch button or touch button bolt. All of our readers also produce an audible beep and LED flash to confirm a successful read. The L2000P is a hand held Patrol reader with a durable vandal resistant metal case, Long-life lithium battery (typical life 700,000 reads/two years). 2Mb Flash memory with storage for up to records it is an ideal solution for all of your proof of presence requirements Like the L9000D reads i Button checkpoints which due to their Stainless Steel construction are extremely robust, and suitable for installation in even the harshest environment. Combined with the unlimited A1 Patrol Management software the L900D provides accurate and detailed reporting on all activity. With the event book and you get information on activity during your operative s tour. The L2000P uses a desktop downloader; simply insert the reader into the downloader click the Collect Data tab on the A1 software and all your data is imported to your PC within seconds. Allowing access to all of your reports which can be viewed on screen printed and ed. As with all of our systems the L2000P comes with a full 2 Year warranty. 6 Remote Support We also provide a full remote service facility. This can be used for troubleshooting, additional training or even software demonstrations. This is a free service for our customers during normal business hours. You will need to obtain a 4 digit PIN security code from your support technician in order to proceed. To obtain your PIN please call us free on and select option 3. The technician will then connect to your computer to analyse your software installation. You will retain control for the duration of this session and can terminate the session at anytime. Warranty and repair All equipment we supply is backed by our comprehensive two year warranty. Every component including Lithium batteries is included. The only exclusions are vandalism or wilful damage. This guarantee is backed up by a UK based repair and support centre that is staffed by factory trained engineers. If for any reason we are unable to repair warranty equipment, we will always replace old with new. Any non warranty equipment we cannot repair will be replaced on an exchange basis.
