The two days will comprise of learning objectives, illustrated intermittently with a number of case studies, to include: - Evaluate how business forecasting, demand planning and S&OP operate on a global basis and in mature and emerging markets - Discover how Sales & Operations Planning can provide an integrated planning platform across marketing, operations and finance - Learn about best-practice processes, identify and implement the supporting technologies, and design the best organisation approach to connect the planning process across the enterprise - Understand the importance of change management; how to develop and link strategic planning and operational planning with financial planning and much more... Previous Speaker Information Sebastian Guerrero Senior Supply & Demand Planner Danone Sebastián Guerrero is a Supply Chain professional with experience in implementing IBP at two different Country Business Units of the Danone Group. How Combined Forecasts Can Increase The Effectiveness Of S&OP Often times, reaching to the agreed forecast efficiently and without many arguments between stakeholders can be a challenge. The innovative approach I will present benefits from applying a simple and effective mathematical methodology in a tailor-designed process that tackles common human biases regularly found during the forecasting process, creating at the same time better conditions for enabling an improved effectiveness in S&OP/IBP. Experiences will be shared over how this pilot innovation in one of Danone's Country Business Unit yielded excellent results. Santiago Casado Project Manager, Supply Chain & S&OP MeadWestVaco Santiago is an Economist and PMP with a wide international background. He has worked in the telecommunication and manufacturing industries in projects in Europe, South America and Asia, covering different fields in Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain and Strategy. In his actual project his focus is the integration of different plants and business across Europe under a single business design, being responsible for the design and implementation of the Supply Chain and S&OP processes. Implementing S&OP. From the Blueprint to the final deployment. Project and Change Management. The success of your S&OP will depend on the correct analysis, the right concept, a correct implementation, a supporting environment, and capable resources. And of your ability to learn and adapt as the project goes on and your experience grows. A consistent project and change management during the implementation of S&OP and after will help you increase the effectiveness and the strength of your organization in a sustainable way. Can you do it yourself, how much support you ll need? Which are the key elements to being effective without losing adaptability? How to manage the key stakeholders? It s not rocket science but the wrong S&OP implementation can damage your company. Be prepared and do it the right way.

With the ever increasing strategic weight M&A are gaining it comes also an increased integration challenge in a global supply chain environment which is more and more dominated by sub-contracting models. In order to ensure global geographical coverage, 3PL players are engaging with a variety of local LSPs which often represent a barrier at the time of providing complex value-added solutions requiring high degree of knowhow and standardization. The presentation will start from a real challenge involving one of the main players in the electronic arena to subsequently expand into a global qualitative scrutiny of the sometimes challenging integration efforts in case of a highly fragmented subcontracting model. How can it be implemented quickly and sustained? How to make the concept a reality in the dayto-day working life at all levels within an organisation? Claire will share the major accomplishments and challenges during the S&OP journey she started 2 years ago at Hertz International, putting in perspective her previous experience. How Business Operational Planning (BOP) is replacing the Sales and Operations planning process (S&OP). Business Operation Planning (BOP) is replacing the Sales and Operations planning (S&OP) in the same way S&OP was replacing Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII), and previously MRPII was replacing Materials Requeriments Planning (MRP). Business Operation Planning (BOP) assess business sufficiency and accelerates business building decisions. It creates a framework for how leadership manages the business. It is based on a common set of business planning assumptions and the latest business intelligence while removing unnecessary effort and reviews.
