It also allows for early identification of quality issues to correct before customer delivery, minimizing recalls, and it uses analytics to properly set warranty reserves. EY asset utilization and optimization Enhances the ability for an oilfield services company to predict machine failure before it actually happens, gain visibility of procurement lead time for spare parts and understand/ anticipate manufacturing lead time for manufactured spare parts. We are able to process data from various sources (sensor, manufacturing, procurement, scheduling, etc.) to predict machine failure and better align resources to maximize asset utilization. These solutions leverage large volumes of structured and unstructured data and are built on SAP HANA, SAP Lumira, SAP Predictive Analysis and Hadoop. These are scalable solutions that are open for integration with other non-sap technological platforms. Page 10
