3 PROS CONFIGURATION TRAINING Configuration training enables you to be certified to configure and test PROS solutions quickly and proficiently. This training provides hands-on experience with both the back-end and UI configuration of PROS software products. The training is identical to the curriculum completed by all PROS professional services members and is taught by PROS configuration experts. Build the depth of expertise around your PROS practice. Get access to updated training materials for existing and new topics. Learn how to manage, change, and configure client systems. ONLINE TRAINING No additional hardware required. While online training covers the same material as the instructorled courses, it is only recommended in cases where the instructor-led course times do not work for your schedule. 3

4 MODULES PROS CAMELEON DESIGNER (CONFIGURE-PRICE-QUOTE) TRAINING - 5 DAYS This 5-day course covers the basics of modeling catalogs and configuration processes in Cameleon. In this course, you ll learn the following: Manage Enhance Design Create Accelerate Manage collections of products with linked relationships (e.g. cross-sell). Enhance the online catalog experience with teasers and rich media. Design configuration processes with business rules and constraints. Create pricing definitions to calculate values in the sales breakdown. Accelerate/migrate design via data exchanges. You DO NOT need to have experience in any of the following for this course: SFDC administration Apex development Java development SQL/Oracle 4

5 PROS CAMELEON (CPQ) QUOTATION PROCESSES TRAINING - 5 DAYS This 5-day course covers the basics of cart modeling, Salesforce integration, and document generation. In this course, you ll learn the following: Cart (2 days) Link to Cameleon catalog and configuration process via ondemand actions. Specify spreadsheet columns to retrieve data from configuration output. Propagate calculations across columns, total cells, and line/ subline hierarchies. Restrict access rights to dynamically hide information based on user group. Define Cameleon approval status tree and modify automated routing. Salesforce integration (1 day) Install Cameleon managed package in your own SF development organization. Connect Salesforce environment to Cameleon environment, and launch Cameleon from Salesforce. Map data from Salesforce to Cameleon (e.g. pull in account field to use in cart calculations). Map data from Cameleon out to Salesforce (e.g. push opportunity revenue from cart total cell). Generate opportunity line items and corresponding products mapped out from cart. Document generation (1 day) Install Jasper ireport & create report datasource from cart output. Populate proposal header information and set up prompt parameters. Dynamically iterate through cart lines and sublines with subreports. Control document format, pagination, header/footer, and cover page. Replicate cart spreadsheet structure with layouts specific to line types. Deploy document template via cart service and test by generating PDF. Review/ Exam (5 day) Review training material. Complete necessary exercises. Exam. Our training course for PROS Scientific Analytics Configuration Certification enables you to setup and modify the complete solution for the above challenges and more. Upon completion of applied exercises and an online exam, you will be fully capable of establishing a powerful and flexible PROS Scientific Analytics solution. In this course, you ll learn the following: Create new pages and charts. Define dimensions. Define measures and cubes. Manage the user administration. PROS PRICE OPTIMIZER - 5 DAYS PROS Price Optimizer provides value by institutionalizing optimal pricing strategies and effective pricing policies. You will complete exercises on the comprehensive set-up of PROS Price Optimizer. Once completed, you will have insight into the power of PROS Price Optimizer and understand how it should be configured to maximize business benefit. In this course, you ll learn the following: Manage and create price lists. Produce personalized price list views. Create pricing methods. Create and use lookups and indexes. 7 PROS DEAL OPTIMIZER - 5 DAYS PROS Deal Optimizer provides guidelines and additional context to negotiate better prices. PROS Deal Optimizer configuration focuses on pricing strategies for sales managers to negotiate optimal prices. At the end of the training you will be able to build these pricing strategies, configure the user interface, and set up deal scores to evaluate deal profitability or deal revenue. In this course, you ll learn the following: Create and manage pricing routines and negotiation methods. Configure deal layouts. Create dependency filters. Approve workflows. Prerequisite: Scientific Analytics & Price Optimizer (Both Preferred). PROS SALES OPTIMIZER - 5 DAYS PROS Sales Optimizer helps drive sales growth faster than ever while maximizing account profitability. PROS Sales Optimizer configuration empowers you to create intuitive workflows and customizable work screens adaptable to every member of your sales team, and much more. In this course, you ll learn how to: Design page templates for accounts and negotiations. Define formula-based elements of item profit models. Set up product-matching for efficient bid responses. Amend agreements for contractspecific pricing. Quickly configure approval workflows through the UI. Prerequisite: Scientific Analytics & Price Optimizer (Both Preferred). 7

8 PROS SEGMENTATION & PRICING GUIDANCE - 4 DAYS Segmentation and pricing guidance groups your customer, product, and other data in ways that allow you to charge the optimal prices and drive revenue growth. This 4-day training course focuses on the business, science, and configuration involved in generating and implementing this key technology for use throughout PPSS. In this course, you ll learn the following: Determine which attributes drive your pricing. Group attribute values together in a way that best allows you to set your prices. Determine the prices you should be charging, given various combinations of attribute values. Prerequisite: Scientific Analytics & Price Optimizer (Both Required). COURSE OPTIONS ONLINE TRAINING Includes certification upon completion of course and passing grade on test. Must be completed within one month once access to course is provided. PROS HOSTED CLASSROOM TRAINING (US OR EUROPEAN LOCATIONS): Practice your newly acquired skills with the instructor and each other. Establish a dialogue by asking questions about application features.
