In combination with Carlson Machine Control, L5 is now proud to offer a complete Work Flow solution, from Data Capture, Plan and Design to Machine Control. Drill and Blast Design is now handled from a central command software. Receive and analyse scan data from Carlson Quarryman, a scanner built specifically for Mining and Construction environments. Drill hole and blast design with Carlson Command. Drill Rigs running Carlson Drill Grade will set out precise drill position, dip angle, and azimuth. Autostop can be enabled when target depth is reached. Digital drill data will be recorded and can be compared with drill and blast designs with precision and reproducibility. Measurements to bore hole deviations can be conducted with Carlson Boretrak technology. Bore hole deviation measurements can be reported and redesigned in Carlson Command. Or be sent to 3 rd party blast design software when optimal blasting is the target, and when additional safety and regulatory Fly Rock conditions, need to be met. The latest Quarryman Pro system builds on 25 years experience delivering laser-scanning solutions to the worldwide quarrying industry. It s our most robust system yet. Available in Standard (750m) and Long (1200m) Range, Quarryman Pro offers safe, reflectorless surveying for blast planning, stockpile measurement and whole site mapping. Easy one-man operation, intuitive software and minimal training requirements allow users the opportunity to save on surveyor costs. Durable and reliable in tough environments, Quarryman Pro is certified water and dust resistant, and has operating capabilities from 20 C to +45 C. Operators can choose between a manual point-andshoot mode and an automatic laser-scanning mode (250 points per second). Entire rock faces can be scanned in minutes. Quarryman Pro measures and records millions of data points directly to a USB drive and does not require external PDAs or computers in the field for data storage. Quarryman data is easily exported for integration with blast design software packages and with data collected from mobile mapping systems.

The cost-effective, rugged borehole-deviation surveying system that's compact, lightweight and portable.the Boretrak borehole deviation measurement system improves safety and enhances productivity in a wide range of applications, including quarry and cast blasting, exploration and foundation drilling, dam pinning, construction, piling and engineering works. Cabled Boretrak is designed to let you work quickly, and move across large sites, covering vast areas without the need to transport bulky surveying equipment. It is compact, lightweight, rugged and highly portable. It is designed to be deployed downhole on its integrated, toughened cable, to depths of up to 65 metres. The Cabled Boretrak probe contains a dual axis tilt sensor and digital compass, to calculate borehole deviation from the collar position at fixed intervals. The Cabled Boretrak system is supplied with a weighted extension piece, which customers can fill with lead shot or sand to ballast the system in deep or flooded holes.

4 Rodded Boretrak The cost-effective, rugged borehole-deviation surveying system that's compact, lightweight and portable.rodded Boretrak gives unique capabilities to measure borehole deviation in situations where other systems will not work: in underground mines, areas of ferrous materials and uphole as well as downhole. Its unique method of deployment ensures accuracy where other systems underperform and it offers significant advantages over cabled systems for many applications. Other probes used to measure borehole deviation, including our Cabled Boretrak, rely on compasses to help measure borehole angle heading. While these systems work well in non-ferrous environments, the Rodded Boretrak system uses specially designed rods to guide and locate the probe in place of a compass. This means it can be used in many situations to give a much more accurate measurement, including uphole, in areas of ferrous material, in areas with cabling or metal works, or other areas where magnetic interference is experienced. The Rodded Boretrak Plus variant offers the ability to measure the inclination when deployed in excess of the standard model s ±45 from vertical. 20 M and 36 m rod sets
