It s the little design details that really count in so many ways: Crossed-shackle detection prevents weigh deck damage and downtime. Technologically advanced, environmentally protected oversized load cell design with eight-point protection for long life and improved accuracy. High-Speed Scale Unit Overhead scale weighs broilers within an accuracy of +/- 0.5 percent of true weight, 95% of the time. The scale unit is isolated from the track to significantly reduce the effects of vibration. Horseshoe weigh deck design enables direct weight transfer for improved accuracy at higher speeds. Turkey sizing systems can handle up to 6,000 shackles per hour. Built-in overload protection. Individually recorded shackle tare weights eliminate the need to use exact weight shackles. Auto zero software fine-tunes weighing accuracy by automatically compensating for load cell drift or scraps on the weigh deck. Extended entrance ramp minimizes product swinging and related recording errors. Bird Loaders and Unloaders Automatic unloaders are mounted downstream of the scale at desired drop points on the overhead line. Unloaders employ heavy-duty air cylinder rods for extended life and reduced upkeep costs. Engineered specifically to interact with weighing shackles. Dual guide bars minimize product swinging and assure. reliable discharge for individual or group drops. Pre-set unloading of product in specified bins alternates to other bins when one is filled without stopping or slowing the line. Resynchronization Sensors Through-beam sensors recount passing shackles. Compensates for line stretch or uneven line wear, so drops will always activate at just the right moment. Fully adjustable for quick and easy positioning. Attains unloading accuracy and repeatability on lines over 1,000 feet long with 32 unloaders.

Grade Detection Option An optional grade detection feature of the WeighMaster system utilizes weight rather than photo-sensors for more reliable performance and accuracy. Unlike the wand approach, this grade detection option requires no additional labor at the rehang table. The WeighMaster system can accommodate four grade stations, resulting in five grade zones. Zones are user-selectable for maximum flexibility. Missed Bird Detector Setting yet another high standard. As a powerful and exclusive component of our WeighMaster system, the missed bird detection option utilizes sensors located past the last drop point to detect the presence of product that did not drop a missed bird. Special controller software allows birds to retain their original grade if left online and accounts for missed or unassigned birds in the production totals. It also serves as an early warning device for mechanical problems at a drop point or a programming oversight. This helps identify and resolve distribution problems quicker and easier.
