6 Voice Control and Response Robust Voice Control & Voice Response Capabilities Voice technologies commonly associated with voice controlled applications are typically limited to very simplistic commands that provide rudimentary navigation control. In order to voice enable beyond rudimentary capabilities proprietary professional services, complex coding and server or cloud-based voice implementations are required. And even with such efforts the types of applications capable of being voice enabled are very limited. With AccuSpeechMobile robust voice capabilities for the broadest base of applications are delivered completely from your mobile devices. In addition to voice controlled heavy data collection and navigation other necessary capabilities are provided to further improve accuracy and productivity. (See Inset) Data Collection Voice Input Confirmation Voice Navigation Automated Voice Prompting Automated Voice Reporting Voice Input Confirmation: Once a user employs voice to collect information, and automated voice can repeat back the data voice-collected to ensure accuracy before the data is confirmed. Voice Prompting: Particularly helpful for new users, an automated voice prompter or tutor can inform the user which step to take next. Once the user is adequately trained, the prompter or tutor can be turnoff to improved speed. Voice Reporting: If your user needs to access instructions, or any type of information that resides on the application, the Text-to Speech function can use an automated voice to read the information to them audibly so as to allow the user to keep his/her eyes on the task instead of reading.

How AccuSpeechMobile Will Successfully Voice-Enable Your Mobile Application While most vendors take a speech engine and write pages of proprietary code for the most rudimentary functionality, Vangard s AccuSpeechMobile solution used decades of speech integration experience to develop an SDK, which we call our Voice Enabling Studio to provide a full set of software tools to quickly and effectively voice enable applications. These tools, which run on a laptop or PC, include an application analyzer, a grammar development wizard and a speech compiler. These tools create the interface that seamlessly integrates with the Intelligent Voice Client software license that is loaded on the mobile device. Each will be designated screen number and location of each control and field.. The analyzer does this for all data input fields in the mobile application. The Grammar Studio After the analyzer has completed the review of the data input fields, the grammar studio will open. It will begin on the first screen and data input field. This is where the true speech design of the interface occurs. In the wizard, there are a wide variety of capabilities to choose from: Voice Command and Grammar Capabilities a. If then scenarios i. If I say a. then do this. If I say b then do that. b. Standard grammars i. Alpha numeric ii. Bar code scanning input iii. Word(s) and/or Phrases iv. Sentences v. Groups (colors, sizes, types, etc..) vi. Voice macros 1. If I say green fill; the entire application, screen or portion using the defined green scenario. 2. If I get somewhere and I need a new session, I say new session and everything that needs to occur (sign in, opening to the correct screen) happens automatically. As you can see, there are a myriad of choices and capabilities;

Our solution s AccuLogic simultaneously combines voice commands for the application and voice commands that initiate multiple device commands or capabilities automatically triggered from a single voice utterance. This is how AccuSpeechMobile voice automates applications. Here s an example. In your deployment you may have an exception. You are using voice to control your application and all of a sudden you need the exception screen. In the past, you may have had to close your existing application, open another window, log in again, hit an F7 key, a return key, tab twice and then cycle through the screens. With our automation capability and the power to integrate the voice utterance to both the application and the hardware capability, when the user says exception, the sequences of hardware functions required to make this happen manually -- happens automatically. Imagine the time savings and the ease of use in difficult environments, fully deployable without making any changes to your application code. This capability also can be employed to streamline the sequencing of application navigation, eliminating any unnecessary screens, further speeding the completion of transactions and functions. This differentiates us from every other vendor building speech interfaces. 10 Intelligent Voice Client The Intelligent Voice Client (Runtime License) 4. The Intelligent Voice Client, our run time license is installed on every device that The Intelligent Voice Client runs the custom VUI built by the Voice Enabling Studio. This run time software is fully functional in very important aspects: c. The Intelligent Voice Client integrates seamlessly with the OS on the device. This allows it to use any and all capabilities that the hardware device has; ie; bar code scanners, function keys, resizing, return keys, zoom in-and-out, any hardware capability. This is critical to the voice automation capability that is designed in the Voice+ Automation Enabling Studio when building the custom VUI. d. The Intelligent Voice Client is not an either/or technology. The AccuSpeechMobile Intelligent Voice Client license includes the highest performance speech engine available and allows full functionality to the application through the keyboard, stylus, scanner or any other input method available to the user. This is another differentiator for AccuspeechMobile in that it has full functionality and adds voice; it does not replace all the functionality just to add voice. e. The Intelligent Voice Client integrates with almost all Microsoft Operating Systems as well as Android. This allows our customers to run VUI s they design on a variety of products, bar code scanners, PC s, smartphones, tablets, ruggedized devices and others. This allows our customers the choice for the best device in the best environment, not always using the same device because there is only one choice for almost all other proprietary voice vendors. The Voice+ Automation Enabling Studio Compiler The language used for voice technology is called BNF notations. All other companies use this standard language to add voice to their proprietary applications. This way they only have to do it once. We have developed our own patented proprietary usage of BNF notations that allows us to compile new implementations and changes to existing projects simply and easily. 1) Our compiler takes the project built by the analyzer and the toolkit and compiles it into 2 small 250kb files. 2) These files are then uploaded to the device and integrated with our Intelligent Voice Client (license). 3) That device is now fully voice enabled with all the rich capabilities designed specifically for that application on that device. 12 Best Practices Headset Hardware Best Practices AccuSpeechMobile personnel have substantial expertise supporting our customers in making choices for appropriate noise-cancelling headsets and microphones. With each customer come different environments and ergonomic requirements. After substantial experience enabling applications of different types, we do recommend avoiding Bluetooth headsets as the noise cancellation capabilities in Bluetooth products do not meet the rigorous requirements for required by voice powered mobile applications. However, there remain other options to make cord or cordless headsets/microphones possible for a wide variety of indoor or outdoor environments and conditions. Training & Deployment Best Practices The success of the professional services offered is based on a collaborate approach we ve seen successfully employed between AccuSpeechMobile personnel and our customers.
