1 The New Customized Reporting Frequently Asked Questions and Answers This FAQ is to help you with the New Customized Reporting On August 3rd, you will see a vastly simpler and more Work Customized Reporting Upon launch of the new Customized Reporting, clients will see: Streamlined navigation to help you find the right report Simple report customization options to help you build a report with the data you need Easy to use report customization capabilities to help you view your spend data the way you want it Drill down capability into reports to understand the detail of your spend 1. What is Customized Reporting? Customized Reporting is the online reporting tool that allows you to find the right data by running customizable reports. It has at-a-glance reports for improved spending analysis and offers on-demand reports that can be viewed, customized, saved, and exported. Customized Reporting allows you to access detailed information from summary reports and view billed and unbilled data to better manage their Card program. You can access Customized Reporting through American Work. 2. What is happening to Enhanced Reporting? Many of you know our online reporting tool as Enhanced Reporting as that is the old name. With the new launch, the name will officially be changed to Customized Reporting. The names Customized and Enhanced have been used interchangeably over the years. The name is officially changing to be consistent with the language Work as well as to indicate that these reports are customizable. 3. When will I see the new Customized Reporting? The current Customized Reporting (aka Enhanced Reporting) product will disappear on the weekend of July 31, 2009 and will be replaced with a new, improved Customized Reporting product.

2 4. What is changing? Customized Reporting is becoming simplified and more intuitive. There are several key changes. Navigation The new Customized Reporting will have a sleek new interface to build, schedule, and maintain customizable reports. All customized reports will be available in one location. You will not have to navigate to multiple folders and History Lists. Building a Report The ability to find the right report will be simple with a keyword search and a Report Finder that allows you to narrow down possible report templates by using drop down menus based on the type of data needed.

3 The report building process has been simplified with added flexibility. Report Viewer The report viewing experience has been simplified, but still has advanced functions available for those who need them. You can change key report parameters without having to re-prompt. Drill capabilities have been enabled on several reports. 5. Are there other Customized Reporting changes I should be aware of? Report deletion after 14 months: All unused report templates (from My Reports or Company Reports) will be deleted after 14 months. In order to save these reports, be sure to run them by July 23 rd. More schedule options: You will have more options when scheduling your reports. Based on the report, you will be able to select daily, weekly, or monthly schedules.

4 Report name changes: In order to be more consistent with our other reporting tools, and to consolidate the list of reports available, report names have been changed and reports have been deleted. Attribute/metric changes: To work toward simple terminology, attributes will be called Data Elements and Metrics will be called Calculations. Several attribute and metric names have been renamed to make them more consistent (ie. No. changed to #). More detailed information on these changes will become available on Work Resource Center. 6. What do I need to do to prepare for this? You will most likely not have to take any action as this migration will happen automatically on the weekend of July 31. Some will need to: 1. Run reports that have been unused for 14 months. This will only be necessary if you wish to keep these report templates after August 3. Run these reports by July 23 rd. All reports unused for 14 months will be deleted. Optional pieces: 1. Your are encouraged to visit the Promo Page (link to be provided late-june) and view the product demo 2. In mid-july you will have access to an elearning and reviewing that briefly will help you understand the new functionality 3. Attend training (optional) in August 7. Can I sign up if I am not currently enrolled? If you are interested in enrolling, contact your Account Representative or our MIS Consultants at :30am - 4:30pm MST, Monday-Friday who can walk you through the enrollment process. 8. Where do I access Customized Reporting? After the installation of the new Customized Reporting the weekend of July 31, 2009, those with access to Customized Reporting can access the new product via the Reports section of Work home page. Clicking on the GO button will direct you to Customized Reporting. There is no action to see the new interface. 9. How do I find and create new reports? Click on the Report Builder tab to find My Reports, Company Reports, and Best Practice Reports. If these reports don t meet your needs, click on Build a New Report on the top right to launch the new Report Finder.

5 10. How do I run a report in the new interface? Clicking on a report name will launch the Report Builder with three tabs: Basic Criteria, Data, Filters. Basic Criteria Data Filters Basic Criteria: This is the only tab where selections are required. Click Run Report or move to the different tabs. Data: The Data tab allows you to pick which data elements appear on the report. The Data tab is broken into separate sections by type of data, with a separate section for calculations. A: To manage the view of the page and see all categories, you can collapse or expand all sections. B: To collapse or expand individual sections, click on the /+ sign. To view tips, click on the?. C: A check mark indicates the element will appear on the report. To select or de-select, click in the box. D: All data selected elements will appear Display Order boxes on the right. Use the arrows next to the boxes to change the order. E: Navigate between the tabs using the buttons on the bottom of the page. Filters: The Filters tab allows you to customize your report results. 11. What are the changes to the report viewing functionality? You will have a simplified Report Viewer with the ability to change the Date Range and Company Level without re-prompting. Once a report has been run, it will appear in the Report List. Click on the report title to launch the Report Viewer.

6 12. Will there be client training available? Yes. You can attend any of the optional training sessions available in August. This training will help you understand the key differences between the current reporting and the new Customized Reporting. Training Details: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 11AM ET and 4 PM ET in August. If you are located offshore, we are offering two night sessions: Monday, August 3 at 8 PM ET Tuesday, August 11 at 8 PM ET Also, to become available is on an online elearning tool to teach you about the new interface. 13. What is happening to Best Practice Reports? The Best Practice Reports interface will be decommissioned, but the reports will still be available in the new interface from the Report Builder tab.
