3 Follow up rigs schedule for the Daily, weekly &monthly maintenance. Assist the operation manager on jobs' requirements. Monitor all rig paperwork, prepares work orders to maintain equipment and upgrades, and assists with safety in preventing accidents and providing safe work sites. Plan rigs equipment utilization for each contract. Establish and maintains good working relations with customer personnel at rig and district level. Set goals and objectives for rig personnel. Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are adhered to on rig and enforces equipment PM programs Oversee major overhaul of rig components, and conducts rig visits and inspections. Assist purchasing, safety, personnel, and maintenance departments for operations. Prepare and conducts monthly rig manager meetings, and attends weekly morning meetings. Review and discusses morning reports from rig, and continually on call for an assigned rig. Act as Project Manager on rig refurbishments, and approves all rig employee timesheets. Approve day work billing for rigs on weekly basis. Attend meetings with owners to discuss the problems faces operation and available solutions. Perform the interview process for hiring rig personnel, approves all promotions, transfers or discharges, and approves all training for rig personnel. Fulfill work over rig specifications when go through tenders. Cooperate with HSE sector to perform the required inspection. Cooperate with the mechanical and electrical maintenance departments to perform the required maintenance. Assist for requesting equipment and tools from abroad, as drill pipes, drill collars, well control equipment; Mud pumps spare parts, etc. Making training schedules for green hand roughnecks and experienced ones. Responsible for filling all the information about the new/ running tenders.
