3 Forward thinking brings a higher intelligence to frac operations. Elimination of guesswork Weir s Pressure Control Intelligent Systems takes the guesswork out of your managedpressure drilling (MPD) and flowback operations with more reliable, local real-time data and automated controls. Outdated, less dependable methods for monitoring vent-gas performance and measuring levels within your mud-gas separator, frac flowback tanks, and ECO-tanks are now replaced with an Internet of Things (IoT) approach that is safer, more accurate, and more reliable. Engineered for challenging or environmentally sensitive areas, Weir s Pressure Control Intelligent Systems helps to prevent kicks and overflows from occurring and gives you significantly more time to respond. With this enhanced accuracy and control, you have the power to improve performance, reduce risk, simplify diagnostics, minimize environmental impact, and decrease nonproductive time. An interconnected brain Each component within Weir s line of Pressure Control Intelligent Systems includes sensors that transmit real-time information to a centralized brain or control unit on-site. This data is relayed to you via a secure, Cloud-based portal, accessible from both desktop and mobile devices and stored in Weir s electronic data warehouse for historical reference. Should an issue arise with fluid levels or flow rates, onsite operators are alerted through local alarms while remote stakeholders are notified via text or , allowing your team much more time to respond. Comprehensive support and flexibility Field-proven and available for rent, Weir s line of Pressure Control Intelligent Systems are supported by our service centers, located in every major North American Basin. Each component can be deployed as a stand-alone product or integrate with multiple Intelligent Systems (IS) products, giving you the choice to collect, monitor, analyze, and annotate data from one or more pieces of equipment. Our IS products are also compatible with other drilling rig data management systems such as Pason and MD Totco, allowing drilling engineers to aggregate data in one place. 3

6 Mathena Vent-Gas Analyzer Intelligent System (VGA-ISF) An integrated gas-flow meter and vent-gas analyzer offer a revolutionary alternative for drilling and flowback operations. Illuminating accuracy Visually monitoring vent-gas and flare performance is far from ideal. It s currently an inexact process and prone to human error. With the Mathena Vent-Gas Analyzer Intelligent System (VGA-ISF), you now have a more precise and reliable alternative for MPD and flowback applications. The Mathena VGA-ISF integrates a gasflow meter and vent-gas analyzer to more accurately measure gas flow rates and gas volume for CH4 and total gas. Realtime data is accessible from a local control panel. Information can also be shared with customers via Cloud-based portal and stored for historical reference in our electronic data warehouse. You have the data to make better decisions and for reporting your carbon footprint to the EPA. Features and Benefits Can operate in tandem with the Mathena Eco-Tank ISL for flowback operations, allowing you to monitor liquid levels in the eco-tank to prevent overflow, potential fluid spills, and ground contamination Real-time local monitoring of wellbore gas returns for CH4 and total gas volumes, including a local H2S alarm Reporting of CH4 and total gas flow rates, along with total volume of CH4 and total gas over specific time periods and/or wells Flow meter probe specialized for wet gas applications, to ensure reliability and accuracy Left: Data shows accurate measure of gas flow rates and gas volume for CH4 and total gas Mathena Vent-Gas Analyzer Intelligent System 6

7 Mathena Mud-Gas Separator Intelligent System (MGS-ISC) A mud-gas separator that provides local, real-time data to help prevent kicks and overflows. Smarter, safer, faster, better Ideal for environmentally sensitive areas and challenging drilling situations with gas-entrained fluid returns, the Mathena MGS-ISC accurately measures and controls the fluid levels within the mud-gas separator for both managed-pressure drilling and underbalanced drilling operations. Performance information from the MGS-ISC is available through our Cloud-based portal, so you can be aware of your operations anytime, anywhere. Real-time data is locally accessible, so your team can make better decisions faster. This can help to prevent gas-carryover from MPD/UBD operations, gas kicks or well-control situations and prevent mud overflows through the vent line and flare or combuster. Mitigating these incidents can save you thousands of dollars in ground contamination cleanup costs and non-productive time. Features and Benefits Technology employs wave-radar measurements to monitor and control MGS fluid levels and can be integrated with additional sensors to monitor secondary containment vessels Active kick and/or well control, providing liquid seal protection to prevent gas carryover, with total valve open-to-close actuation in less than 18 seconds More accurate MGS liquid-level sensing and real-time liquid-level change analysis and performance monitoring via local control panel MGS conditional analysis and alarms Automated MGS liquid-discharge control Optional sensors and software integration package that establishes the MGS-ISC/F as a wellbore return flow meter Electric-actuated control system to optimize performance and minimize actuator cycles Manual actuator override Simultaneously ensures MGS-ISC vent-gas separation performance, integrating with the Mathena Vent-Gas Analyzer ISF Above: Performance information from the MGS-ISC is available through our Cloud-based portal, so you can be aware of your operations anytime, anywhere. 7

8 Mathena Frac Flowback Intelligent System (FFB-ISL) Monitor flow-rate data and level change within frac tanks anytime, anywhere. Accurate data for better decisions The Mathena Frac Flowback Intelligent System (FFB-ISL) accurately monitors return flow-rate and wellbore pressure data, along with fluid level changes within frac tanks, containment pits and other vessels. Wave-radar technology provides real-time measurements, accessible from local-panel displays, while customers can access data though a Cloud-based portal. Vastly improving decision-making and control, the FFB-ISL is designed to help optimize wellbore integrity and improve production.
