2 FirstDose Application Release Complete list of Enhancement of the system s barcode functionality. The system no longer requires every item in the MIL to have a Barcode in order to turn on the barcode functionality. Items in the MIL that have a barcode linked to it, will require a scan at the appropriate screens (i.e. dispense, restock, audit) if turned on in the manage facility settings Items that do not have a barcode linked will not require a scan in any function. Enhancement of the report scheduler Item Fulfillment report Greatly enhanced the report generation time in the report job engine, reducing the time to product an item fulfillment report by 84%, preventing one job from overriding another which produced empty reports. Changes made to the scheduler, will now require all item fulfillment reports to only allow one facility per report. FirstDose Application Release Complete list of Optimized the complete cart audit database connections along with improved logging of error messages. Optimized database functions to improve the complete cart audit function. Enhanced several database procedures to improve the user experience with the complete cart audit. Enhanced the MIL import function to properly import barcodes. Enhanced the One-time Access functionality to properly cancel out of the transaction and not record the dispense transaction upon cancelling. Enhanced the outbound billing interface procedures to wait 15 minutes prior to sending in order to prevent cancelled transactions from being sent to Frameworks. Enhanced the outbound billing interface to properly send all dispense transactions to Frameworks. 3 FirstDose Application Release New Features Par vs Usage Report A new report is now available via the Reports Tab as well as the Report Scheduler. Report will display the Number of Dispenses, Restocks, Stock outs, Adjustments via audits, Expired Returned per Item that is assigned to a cart. Billing interface Added the ability to send billing messages for verified patients where the dispense was not via an order Added the ability to merge Ad Hoc Patient usage into a verified patient. Added the ability send billing massage after merge has taken place Added support for QS1 s Billing interface. Complete Cart Audit Improvements Added the ability to update the Expiration date Added the ability to expire items out of the position through a new Expire Med button Added the ability to sort by cell MIL Added the ability to update the Drug Code With the interface turned off, all fields will be editable With the interface turned off, DEA schedule and Item Type can be updated Stock/Restock Added the ability to manually type the expiration date instead of the Calendar Control Discrepancy Resolution Added past 5 accesses (Access to the main location i.e. accesses to the narc drawer) Added the ability to export the discrepancies to excel Manage Facility Settings Added the ability to turn the patient profile off or on at the facility level. When populated, the generic name fields will display the Alternate name in its place Improved Cassette Exchange Workflow The Cassette Exchange now displays one cart, exchange cart is no longer displayed User will have to enter or Barcode scan the Cassette being put in Software will automatically select the cassette being replaced User will select the Complete Exchange to physically open the cart and exchange the cassette. General Updated Cart Monitor resolving a sync error Updated the system to handle more characters in the dosage field Update to the recording of remove item transactions, transactions will not save until the secondary authentication has been successfully entered. Updated the OTA requests, removed the ability to submit multiple requests through the OTA request Screen Updated the discrepancy report to be able to send where the medication does not have an expiration date Updated the Order Sync interface, orders will now properly display according to the start and stop dates specified in the ordered. 5 FirstDose Application Release New Features Count Remaining Feature New facility setting that can be set to require a count remaining during the remove item workflow on all items, controlled items only or no items. Added the ability require a user to count the remaining items in a position after the removal of items in the remove item workflow Any instance where the count is incorrect, a discrepancy will be logged Added support for Discrepancy Tracking and Resolution Added support to create three different types of discrepancies. Count Remaining Discrepancy During the remove item process where the user count does not equal the expected system count. Serial Tag Audit Discrepancy With the serial tag audit enabled, a discrepancy will be logged when the user entry for the old serial tag does not equal the expected system serial tag. Audit Discrepancy (Complete Cart or Reconciliation) If enabled at the facility level, a discrepancy will be logged when either the Old Serial tag does not equal the system expected serial tag or the user count does not equal the system expected quantity. Added new discrepancy resolution function, located under the Cart Menu. Allows user to track, resolve and comment on a discrepancy. Users will not be able to resolve their own discrepancies. Enhancement to how the system saves the removed item transactions System will now save the selected items upon entering the remove Item workflow from the select items screen. Users will now no longer be able to override the quantity selected during the remove item workflow. All events will show on the billing report, if a logout or an auto-logout occurs prior to selecting the done button on the last screen of the remove item Updated the system to properly remove the prestock from the queue when the user deletes the prestock Capsa Healthcare Proprietary 5

7 FirstDose Application Release New Features Enhanced One-Time Access (OTA) Added the ability to require an OTA for non-controlled items. Moved the OTA setting from the pharmacy settings to the manage facility settings. New setting is set on a per facility basis with the following possible settings. Not Required OTA will not be required Always Required OTA is required for all dispenses Required for Controlled OTA is required for dispensing of all controlled substances only Required for Uncontrolled OTA is required for dispensing of all non-controlled items only Added support for the Billing Interface Added support to be able to send a billing interface transaction back to the Pharmacy system when the medication is dispensed via an patient order. Manage Patients Updated to show all patients to include those with no facility assigned. Updated to export all of the patients listed based on the filter applied. Remove Item Workflow Enhancement Updated the remove item workflow to properly display items that did not have an expiration date listed Capsa Healthcare Proprietary 7

Added the DEA Filters to the Scheduler for the Item Fulfillment and Item Expiration Scheduled reports. Reporting Updated the Item Fulfillment report to properly apply the restocking level filters when running the scheduled report. Updated the transaction report to include the cell column number in the exported file MIL Updated the Formulary interface to not override the min and max values when syncing the formulary into the MIL. 9 FirstDose Application Release New Features Introduced the new Pulse Interface Engine Added support for the new Formulary Sync Interface - synchronizes the FirstDose master item list with pharmacy system s formulary Added support for the new Patient Sync Interface - Receives patient information from the ADT interface and adds, updates or removes the patient information based on information from the pharmacy information. Added support for the New Patient Order Sync Interface (Profiling) - Receives patient orders from the pharmacy system and adds, updates or discontinues the patient s profile accordingly. Added support for the new Billing Sync Interface - Sends back charges and credits the pharmacy system. Added new settings tab to the Admin. - Pharmacy & System Settings to enable the pharmacy interface. Added new field Enable Pharmacy Interface - When checked and the interface is configured by Capsa, this will allow the interface settings to be enabled Added new enable formulary sync setting - When Pharmacy Interface, the formulary interface will automatically be enabled. Added new Last Synced field that will display the Date/time of the last formulary message processed via the Pulse Interface Engine. Added new enable patient sync setting Added new Last Synced field under the patient sync settings which displays the date/ time the last patient message processed via the Pulse Interface Engine. Added new Enable Order Sync setting. When enabled the patient profile workflow will be enabled. The Patient Sync must be enabled in order for the Order Sync to be enabled. Added new Order setting to enable Allow Partial Dispensing - enabling will allow the partial dispensing of an order. Added new Order setting to enable Allow Range Orders - enabling this setting will allow range order to be processed via the Pulse Interface Added new Order setting to enable Submit Order to Pharmacy - enabling this setting will turn on billing messages to be sent back to the pharmacy system. Added new Last Synced field that will display the Date/time of the last order message processed via the Pulse Interface Engine. 10 New Features Time Zone Management Added a new settings to the Admin. - Pharmacy & System Settings to set the pharmacy s time zone. Added a new settings to the admin. - Pharmacy & System Settings to the automatically adjust the pharmacy time zone for daylight savings time (DST). Added a new setting to the Facilities & Groups - Manage Facility to set the facility s time zone Added a new setting to the Facilities & Groups - Manage Facility to set the facility to automatically adjust for DST. Managing Stock Queues Added new screen under the cart menu that allows users with the proper rights to manage the prestock queues Added the ability to print, export, adjust quantities or remove items from a specific queued prestock while the prestock is still active. Punch Card Compatibility Added new drawer cell configurations for 24 slot punch cards. Added the batch number to the restock and prestock feature to track punch cards per positions. Added support to properly display the batch number on all pages, reports and s. New System Maintenance features Added new system maintenance page to view, download and delete site information Added the ability to review error logs from the system maintenance page. Added the ability to review interface logs from the system maintenance page. Added the ability to review the cart monitor logs from the system maintenance page. Added the ability to filter the Transaction report by DEA schedule. Added the following fields to the Transaction report: queue name, expiration date, cassette tag, OTA code. Added the ability to filter the Transaction report by transaction type. Added the barcode scanned to the Transaction report. Added a new refill calculation option to the Item Fulfillment report. User is now able to set the report to calculate by Cell Level with Expiration, without expiration date or Cart Level without expiration date. Added a new setting to the Scheduler to turn on/off password protection on schedule report. Updated the report scheduler to correctly save the frequency when changing a schedule report from recurring to once. Updated the scheduler to properly insert the NDC into the proper column list. Merged strength and strength units into one field where there used to be two separate fields in all reports. Merged dose and dose units into one field where there used to be two separate fields in all reports. Merged NDC and GPI into one field where there used to be two separate fields in all reports. Updated all reports to properly display the correct time zone based on the pharmacy and facility settings. Added Stock Level filters to the Item Fulfillment report to be able to filter by: All, Stock Ok, Need Stocking, Critically Low Stock. Added the ability to export the Master Item List and the Manage user list. Added New View Event Logs report. User Interface Updated the Cart and Narc Unlock message to properly display in appropriate places Updated all data grid headers in all screens to not scroll with the list. The header will now remain anchored to the top of the grid. Updated the page sorting on all data grids to properly sort the grid based on sort selection. The sort will now properly sort the entire data list where previously only the current page was sorting. 12 Restocking Added the ability to add a comment while stocking a cell. Enhanced the item search while assigning a medication to a position FirstDose allows only one controlled drawer to be exchanged per transaction. Enhanced the cassette exchange process to only show user role specific carts in the suggestion list. Added access to the PharmacyLocal role for the cassette exchange function. System & Management Enhanced the system and activity logging throughout the application. Administrators can access the additional logged activity through the new Event Log report. Enhanced the auto logout functionality by added an inactivity logout. Users will now see an inactivity that will count down until it reaches zero and then log the user out of the application and navigate back to the login screen. Added a Application Session Timeout (in Min) setting to the Pharmacy & System settings. Added a Logoff Warning Time (in Min) setting to the Pharmacy & System settings. Added new NDC Calculated Barcode setting to the Pharmacy & System settings. Added new time zone settings to the Pharmacy & System settings. Added new Separate for Controlled and Uncontrolled items setting to the Pharmacy & System settings. Added new time zone settings to the Manage Facility settings. Added new Cassette exchange setting to the Manage Facility settings. The settings will control what types of items can be part of the exchange process. Setting can be set to all, controlled or uncontrolled items. Added new interface settings to the Manage Facility settings which can only be enabled when the interface is turned on: Added the Allow Ad Hoc Patient setting. This settings allows a user to create a one-time patient where the patient is not in the patient list. Added the Ad Hoc Patient Witness setting. This setting requires when a witness to create an ad hoc patient. Added the Show Allergies setting. Displays the patient s allergies in the patient profile. Added the Allow Override Items setting. This setting allow overrides to be dispensed from the patient profile. Added the Ad Hoc Item Witness setting. This setting requires a witness when dispensing an override item. Added the Allow Ad Hoc Item Type setting. This setting can be set to only allow controlled items, uncontrolled items or both to be dispensed via override. Added the Hide After First Removal setting. When enabled, this setting will hide order in the patient profile after the first dose has been removed. Orders can be unfiltered. Added the Hide After: setting. 13 System & Management continued. Added additional user logging by tracking Browser, IP Address, number of failed and successful login attempts. Added the ability to make user roles to be made inactive. Provide access to the FacilityLocal role to reset passwords. Provide the ability to deactivate items from the master item list where there are no quantities. Enhanced the Blind Reconciliation process, the seal tags from the removed items will now carry over to the reconciliation audit screen automatically. Added the ability to send a combined or separate for controlled and uncontrolled item removals. Added the ability to configure the time interval for which an Reconciliation Audit reminder is sent out after the audit is completed. Updated the remove item process to properly records the quantity.
