The application spectrum of FormStar ranges from classic data acquisition tasks like addresses, order confirmations, orders, questionnaires, competitions, vouchers, inventory documents, vendor invoices, delivery notes, prescriptions, cheques, self-reading cards, and documents of meter reading via automatic fax interpretation to automatic invoice processing and data extraction of unstructured documents. The concept of the system is designed for open interfaces and future-oriented architecture. This ensures high flexibility and overview during the design of the application. Documents are either directly delivered to the system using the integrated scan client BLScan or via the integrated import functions from data directories, mailboxes or fax servers.
