4 Understanding Crane Risk Profile QC No1?? If you are unable to answer the previous questions with any surety then what you don t know must be viewed as a significant risk. QC No1?? Depending on what previous questions you were able to answer you could be sitting here in your risk map but with some unknown areas of risk. QC No1?? If you can answer all previous questions with supporting history and documentation, then you are likely to sit in this part of the risk map. In-line with guiding risk/ insurance principles - The factor with the highest consequence takes precedence. So for example: if serious injury and/ or fatality is a very high consequence compared to loss of revenue/ profit, negative reputation etc then the worst case item is the one that will determine where you are on the risk map.

8 Your TrentSIM Dashboard ü Shows inspection status. ü Shows unread s relative to a particular inspection performed. ü Add a new inspection item. ü Shows All, what's Outstanding and what has been Done. ü Quick navigation to any of your terminals cranes. ü Shows inspection items and key status information. The orange warning triangle highlights an incomplete inspection.

9 Starting a New Inspection ü Select Business Unit/ Dept. ü Select Inspection Category ü Select the Crane you want to inspect from the drop down list. ü Select Inspection template/ protocol (ie: TrentSIM of TrentTPI if you have subscribed to both etc) üstart inspection

10 Tracking Inspection Progress ü Select inspection area to begin your inspection of this area of your crane. ü All un-inspected items show an orange alert icon to clearly show and track progress. ü Returning to continue an inspection has never been easier now you can pick up exactly where you left off just by following the orange alert icons.

11 Following the Plan ü You can now start inspecting your crane area by area, item by item. ü Simply scroll down to view the general instructions for this particular inspection item. ü Scroll down further to view the drawing of your inspection item and the exact areas for you to inspect. ü Rotate phone at any time and view in landscape

12 Customisable Parameters ü Each inspection area/ component can have multiple user-definable parameters for checking: ü Radio buttons (e.g. pass, fail, etc) ü Check boxes (e.g. left, right, up, down) ü Date entry ü Attachment (pictures or files) ü Yes/ No response ü Number entry (ie: moves, speed, etc) ü You can add optional comments as you wish or even add optional photos, videos or attachments.

13 Highlighting a Pass ü If you inspect and pass an item, but want to ensure the next inspector takes special note of a comment you have made then select an appropriate flag from the drop down table and feel assured that this item and your comments do not get overlooked by the next inspector. ü The result will be marked in Green (Pass) or Red (Fail) accordingly. ü If you have a query or concern, don t wait scroll down on this page and click the icon, then simply message the person you may need a second opinion from.

14 Highlighting a Fail ü If you inspect and fail an item, or are unsure, then select an appropriate flag from the drop down table and be sure this item and your comments reach the right people for action. ü You can even initiate a WO from here and mail to your manager or the planners. ü If the saved entry is a fail it will be marked as red. ü If you have a query or concern, don t wait scroll down on this page and click the icon, then simply message the person you may need a second opinion from.

15 Uploading Picture or Files ü Maybe you prefer to take pictures and simply upload from your camera or computer files you decide. ü Whether the inspection item is a Pass or Fail the inspector can take a picture or a video for record purposes in-line with the Ports operating processes and/ or requirements of the local authorities.

16 Documenting your Inspections ü All results can be reviewed by other in-house persons, or you can seek input and advice from Trent s Support Centre and structural crane engineer by simply sharing the information you are looking at. ü Take a picture of the area being inspected and it will be stored automatically against the crane, and the area/ item you are inspecting, as defined in drop down tables above.

17 Measuring by Numbers ü Easily customisable, user-defined templates can ensure your inspector enters relevant numerical data where it can be compared against the min/ max values you pre-define. ü Recording running hours for all functional systems giving you visibility at your fingertips regarding both utilisation between inspections and asset life cycle.

18 Inspection Summary ü At the end of the inspection - you can at a glance - quickly check overall inspection status on what's passed, failed or yet to be completed. ü For the failed items, you can see exactly what area of the crane has failed and should you wish you can click the link and go straight to the failed area, read your comments, see the picture taken etc..

19 Inspection Summary & Review ü Check your inspection summary on your app by % completed and % incomplete. ü Incomplete items are clear and can be accurately scheduled into the next window of opportunity by the terminal planners. ü Follow up on your inspection by clearly understanding what actions you have flagged that need further investigation, or what actions you have flagged that require a specific WO to be created. ü No more mis-understanding no more mis-communications no more risks slipping through the net!
