Based in Poole, Dorset we operate from a modern 43,000 sq/ft manufacturing facility. Through a programme of ongoing investment in the latest CNC equipment, automated management processes, quality systems and highly skilled personnel, we have continued to develop into a leading and approved supply partner to many major companies. We also have a large dedicated and separate assembly area, where sub assemblies and complete special purpose machinery is assembled and fully tested to ensure that it meets the customer s specifications prior to delivery. This provides complete visibility for each order in the system and helps to simplify and automate all of our business processes. By offering a complete service from material purchase and component machining through to finishing and assembly, we can provide a single source supply that reduces a customer s inventory and production planning costs, whilst simplifying the purchase process and project lead-time. Our plant list includes some of the latest CNC turning and milling machinery including a range of bed mills for large work, complimented by a range of conventional machinery and sheet metal production equipment. 4 Progress Plus Production Control Software We use the powerful Progress Plus production control software to ensure complete traceability of customer s orders at any point in the production and manufacturing process. Progress Plus enables us to monitor and control each manufacturing process, retrieve data and produce up to the minute reports on the status of all active jobs and projects. The areas covered by Progress Plus include: Quotation Material Forecasting Procurement Production Planning Scheduling Stock Inventory Control Sub Contracting Quality Control Delivery We continue to invest significantly in developing bespoke visual production tools to maximise efficiency and improve the service and facilities for the customer. Live work order lists, displayed on large monitors in all production areas, have been in operation for a number of years now. When an operation is finished within one section it automatically appears in the correct order in the next section. The visual displays have proven to reduce downtime significantly by providing the focal point for all information and work loading priority. This live system enables us to be more responsive to changes to customer requirements. 6 CNC Machining Capability Milling & Turning We provide an extensive CNC machining capability. The latest milling machines have enhanced capacity further to accommodate large components up to 3250 mm x 1250 mm. We are now able to offer one of the largest AS 9100 conforming milling services in the South of England. With a comprehensive range of 2 and 3 axis CNC Lathes we provide high quality, precision turned components to a number of market sectors. Our CNC turning capacity is also complimented by a number of semi-cnc and manual machines. We are also well equipped with semi-cnc and conventional milling machines. 6. 7 Equipment Manufacture & Assembly Turnkey Projects We are an established build partner for many leading OEM s. Our technical and production expertise delivers the highest standards of service and has been instrumental in achieving demanding delivery schedules. All build applications are project managed within the framework of our quality procedures and in accordance with client specific practices and documentation control if required. We have successfully delivered a number of diverse projects including a complex overhead lighting assembly for the A380 first class lounge, bespoke luxury seating units for a leading international airline and special purpose trailer systems used as part of an emergency landing system for commercial airport runways.
