Gals fr Nte: The ITS Strategic Plan is a rlling 2-year plan that will be updated every January (cinciding with the budget cycle). Initiatives are generally enterprise in scale, thugh several Frederictnspecific prjects are included. Internal gals and bjectives are reflected in ITS departmental plans. We have aligned ur strategy t that f the university t ensure we effectively supprt its visin and missin. Our specific gals are measurable, and will be evaluated frequently t ensure prgress and value; we have cmpiled estimates f staff time and funding required t accmplish them: 1. Prvide an exceptinal and transfrmative student experience Deply Office 365 the next generatin f clud-based prductivity tls frm Micrsft Metric: Office 365 deplyed and in use by students and alumni, retired faculty/staff Ratinale: The next step in cnvergence f clud (students) and self-hsted (faculty/staff) cnnected services Deply at least ne mbile app designed t deliver useful and valuable infrmatin directly t students via whatever device they chse Metric: App deplyed that integrates with an enterprise-level system such as Datatel Ratinale: Apps shuld be mre than just packages f links t websites--an integrated app is cnvenient and saves a lt f time The public UNB websites will be refreshed, and will incrprate respnsive design, which frmats webpages accrding t the needs f the device 2 Assciate Vice-President, Infrmatin Technlgy Services
