1 Empower Driven Services Resource Management Report A customized comprehensive resource utilization report based on your specific goals The Resource Management Report (RMR) provides detailed comprehensive analytics based on metadata from your Empower Software system. The analyses and recommendations provided by Waters expert consultants can help you make informed decisions for managing assets within your Empower network environment resulting in optimized workflows which increase productivity and provide real cost savings to you. Customized analyses and recommendations A Waters Business Impact Consultant meets with you to establish the goals and objectives that are most meaningful to you. Information such as: runtimes, instrument usage, error messages, sample reruns, dates and times of usage, is gathered and analyzed. Detailed analyses and recommendations are then compiled into the RMR so you don t have to spend the time gathering and interpreting the data. 2 RESOURCE UTILIZATION ANALYSIS Increase productivity and maximize laboratory capacity System usage data is analyzed by the Waters expert and summarized in the RMR, so you can see the system usage trends over several weeks, months or years. Recommendations are made as to how you can increase your system utilization by devising shift schedules, allocating resources or scheduling instrument maintenance and qualification during low usage times. The RMR resource utilization analytics provide information on: System utilization Resource flexibility Equipment needs Trends UPLC potential How are my chromatographic systems being utilized? 3 LABORATORY WORKFLOW ANALYSIS Streamline your processes and release test results faster The length of your workflows has an impact on how quickly a product can be released to market. The RMR looks at trends in your workflows to help you identify processes that need improvement. Recommendations are made as to how to shorten the time required from first injection through final signoff. The RMR laboratory workflow analytics provide: Electronic signatures analysis Specific workflow analysis How long does it take to complete a workflow? Can I reduce time in a specific workfow? ADMINISTRATION, COMPLIANCE AND SECURITY ANALYSIS Improve project management, reduce compliance risks and eliminate errors with a risk cause analysis The RMR looks at the System Audit Trail and who has access to which projects in your Empower database. Recommendations are made that can improve server performance by better data organization, archiving and controlling access to projects. Error messages can interrupt a workflow and raise compliance concerns. The RMR categorizes and summarizes error messages by error type, project, instrument, user or application to help you identify potential problems. 4 The number of custom fields in a project has a direct effect on processing time and project tablespace size. In our analysis, we can identify custom field inconsistencies such as the same formula being used in multiple projects but with a different custom field name. The RMR analyzes the number of custom fields used per project and makes recommendations on how to keep them to a minimum.
