13 How do I fund my trust account? R1: via ACH Credit or Fedwire transfer; instructions provided in EPS. July 2017: via RSS deposit (cash, check, etc.) FUTURE: mobile check capture through USPS EPS app. Method FAQs (Trust) EPS Best Practice Check with your organization s Financial team to understand the steps needed to identify USPS as an approved wire transfer recipient. (e.g. Some companies require a W9 to setup USPS EPS as a new vendor.) 25 CAPS Will my EPS transactions be in my CAPS reports? No. CAPS and EPS do not share transaction data. EPS customers using ACH Debit will see two daily transactions if there are products paid through CAPS and EPS on the same business day. EPS FAQs ACH Debit Transactions How often will I see EPS transactions? EPS ACH Debit transactions are batched 7 6 PM Eastern (CAPS M F only)

14 EPOBOL FAQs Opening Can I open a new box in California from my desk in DC? Yes. However, someone in CA will need to print the confirmation from EPOBOL and present it to the PO to obtain the keys with ID. (PS 1093 equivalent) Closing Can I close the box today due on 5/31 and still use it through the end of the month? Yes. However, there is a known issue in EPOBOL that requires Help Desk assistance to correct in WebBATS. User should close, but contact the Help Desk to have it noted that box should remain available until expiration. Fix is scheduled for Release PostalOne! & Permits FAQs Permit Migration Do I have to switch all of my permits at the same time? No. However, all permits linked to a shared CRID should be migrated concurrently. Transaction Reports How will my daily transaction reports change? Enterprise provides the same transaction data as the most frequentlyused CAPS reports to minimize the impact to mailers daily reconciliation processes. PostalOne! EPS users will also use the redesigned BCG dashboards to simplify transaction reporting

15 PostalOne! & Package Platform FAQs Release 3.0 Available Products Which commercial mailing transactions can be paid through EPS with Release 3.0? Domestic and International postage statement transactions (including refunds, reversals, and adjustments) submitted via edoc, Postal Wizard, IMsb, EDDM or the BMEU. In addition to First Class Mail, Marketing Mail, and Package Services, EPS will also support payment for Periodicals, Nonprofit authorizations, and BRM as well as Full Service and Seamless assessment transactions. Package Platform Deferred Products Which commercial mailing transactions are dependent on the Package Platform for EPS support? Domestic and International postage statement transactions paid with a Shipping Services Permit or submitted via a Shipping Services Manifest to the Electronic Verification System (evs) or Parcel Return Service (PRS). Priority Mail Express, Scan Based, Click N Ship Business Pro and Premium Forwarding Service Commercial (PFSC) will also be available with the Package Platform. 29 Permit Migration As an MSP how will I be affected if I am mailing under a customer s permit rather than my own? Enterprise supports the MSP mail owner relationship for permit mailings. Access to a customer s permit is available to approved BCG users through Audit Mailing Activity or Manage Mailing Activity. PostalOne! & MSP FAQs Transaction Reports My customers rely on me to assist them with managing all things postal including permit management. What can I do to assist them in transitioning their permit? Assist your mailers with reviewing their account configuration (CRIDs, permits, local trust, CAPS, MSP access) in preparation for migration to Enterprise

16 CAPS & Local Trust Migration FAQs New Accounts When will EPS be required for new accounts? USPS recommends all new accounts be opened directly within EPS upon completion of the PostalOne! pilot. A specific date will be announced with the PostalOne! release, but new payment accounts planned for spring 2018 should expect to use EPS rather than CAPS or local trust. Existing Accounts When do I have to close my current account & switch to EPS? USPS will assist all current CAPS or local trust accounts with migration to EPS in Target sunset dates for CAPS and local trust accounts will be identified with the PostalOne! release, but current CAPS and local trust users should plan to transition to EPS by December Migration Support Business Mailer Support & Major Mailer Support ModernizationMigrationTeam@usps.gov Support customers with migration preparation Identify & validate PO Boxes, Caller & Reserve Services Company Name Contact Name PostalOne!
