APACHE V4 is the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution for industrial companies It's an integrated and modular software that provides management tools to the operational areas of a manufacturing company: product definition (BOM and routings), sales, inventory, production planning, scheduling, detection and control, purchases, accountings... ensuring the correct data generation for an efficient enterprise management control. APACHE V4 has been developed using the latest technologies to make it independent from the base platform, either software or hardware: application are available in Java language and completely Web-Based; the data bases and the certified application servers are among the more widespread; it has an effective and intuitive graphical interface developed in Java Server Faces and Rich Faces architecture, available via WEB using a normal browser.

BILL OF MATERIALS AND ROUTINGS APPLICATION FEATURES BILL OF MATERIALS Item base data and parameters management, item classification and powerfull tools for item search by features BOM with an unlimited number of levels and with any number of components Real-time interception of loops and instant recalculation of low level code Technical changes management by revision level, with special co-ordinating functions Copy, subtitution, changes functions (both selective and massive) Item substitution management with stock burn-out ROUTINGS Resources (work centers, departments, machinary) and calendars management Routings management, with the possibility to group more phases in one step of production detection Components placed and issued at the operation that requires them External phases (subcontracting) management linked to the purchase environment PRODUCT CONFIGURATOR Due to the fact that APACHE V4 configurator is complete, flexible and easy to use, it s suitable to different industrial sectors (fashion, mechanics, electronics, furniture, ). Main features: definition of product models with any number of BOM levels parameterization of the model through formulas and rules transfer of dimensional/aesthetic variants on the lower level of components definition of sale and purchase prices in accordance to the choices made BOM configuration per single BOM level or over all levels automatic identification of the configurations already made with the same choices product research by characteristics COST EVALUATION STANDARD For every item (purchased or produced), the system can manage any number of costversions, which is derived from the data present in the following environments: technical data (item base data, BOM, routings, production resources), purchases and subcontracting price lists, hourly work centers costs, other costs directly related to each item (custom duties, transports, taxes, etc.). Access to information (BOMs, routings, price lists ) is made by validity date. The final cost of the product is obtained as the sum of every "cost entry" defined and kept separated by the system (also for WIP materials evaluated at the end of each production operation). ACTUAL Calculates the real cost for the components and the finished products, starting from: real issues of materials valued at the supplier s invoice price, real work hours used, real subcontracted work costs. In case of make to order production, the system quantifies each order cost. In a make to stock production, the actual cost of each order and item is calculated (averaged over a period of time). WIP is valued in the same way.

SALES The system is able to manage customers organization on three levels: group, company and division. The module is divided into the following subsystems: customers base data (in which customers logistic structure is included) sale price lists managed by validity date sales orders managed via WEB or by mobile personal computers (commercial portofolio is integrated with master production schedule, MPS). agents commissions management automatic shipping suggestions immediate or deferred billing returns management WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT Manages the inventory data of components, WIP and finished products. The following modules are available: stock accounting: three levels of balance are kept for each item: corporate, location, batch and/or commit. physical warehouse, that allows a dynamic management of the warehouse locations (random positioning) using PDAs for automatic identification connected via WiFi batch tracing, that enables explosion analysis (lots of the components used in that batch) and implosion analysis (batches in which that lot was used) quality control through specific samples; allows the certification of incoming batches, both from production and purchase management and fiscal evaluations (LIFO, FIFO, etc.) FINITE CAPACITY PLANNING AND SCHEDULING It's a system that, starting from MRP II methods, has innovative techniques for time positioning (forward planning) of critical events and all others linked to them. The system is able to highlight both not reachable targets at the desired time, and the delay entity. It underlines all events (materials and resources) which contribute to the delay. To optimize the resources levelling, material arrivals can be authorized in advance by acting on specific parameters; in this way it s possible to transfer part of the production in periods in which resources are partly used. MPS Allows the definition of a production plan consistent with the availability of resources and materials. Two possible levels: by product family and by item. MRP Materials requirements planning. The module complies with international standards, but it offers more: real time simulations of different production scenarios, MTS and MTO batch planning, sensitivity to batches homogeneity, lead time calculation starting from the routings, inventory exhaustion management, components issue at the real routing operation using them,... PRM Uses a reticular planning technique that helps to overcome the constitutional limits of MRP (lack of flexibility and reactivity, for example when it suggests activities in the past and gives no suggestions about delays and their effects); it defines the links between the events and evaluates the "as soon as possible" dates for each production event. The system also identifies the critical paths and moves forward the events. CRP Starting from released production orders and the orders proposed by MRP, this module is able to define resources load profile, generating the capacity-needs plan. FCP The aim of this module is to re position the production activities over the time, taking into account the resources availability profiles. For every operation a timed reservation is made using the as soon as possible dates. So the required resources are allocated also according to priorities of the production orders. Before sending an operation on delay, the system searches for alternative resources. ESS Finite capacity schedulator uses IBM Ilog constraint programming engines. The system is able to evaluate the concurrent scheduling of all production resources.

PURCHASES AND RECEIVING Provides tools to manage relationships with suppliers, to create purchase orders and to register the receiving of materials or services. It s integrated with SOM module for what concerns the external production. It s divided into the following subsystems: suppliers base data (the suppliers logistic structure is included) purchase price lists (materials and workmanships) managed by validity dates PR (Purchase Requests) and their transformation in purchase orders purchase orders (normal and opened - contracts) management receiving returns purchase invoices check (linked to receiving and administration environment) INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PRODUCTION The module manages production orders. It s integrated with POM module for those processes that need to be externally executed. The following features are available: production order maintenance (quantity changes, component and routing modifications, order split,...) possibility (manual or automatic) to connect together phases of different orders for a common production detection operational documentation printout automatic generation of the components picking lists from warehouses to production departments and to suppliers of external workmanships Production detection per order phase, with automatic issue of the components and pouring of the WIP or of the finished product production time detection, scrap detection, over issues or under issues detection,... GENERAL AND ANALYTICAL ACCOUNTING The module guarantees the best practices and the compliance to the last standards and the current regulations. It makes and collects payments, collects refunds, processes intercompany transactions, prepares year-end closing, manages fixed assets and manages cash. MANAGEMENT CONTROL Allows to manage sales quantities and revenues at any desired level of aggregation (company, region, area, agent, customer, etc.), and at different time levels: actual balance, portfolio, budget, forecast, etc. Detects delta between any type of data (comparison between budget, invoiced, orders portfolio, pre-actual, etc.). Simulates both organization aspects different from the referenced ones, and quantities and prices changes for each defined level of aggregation. Checks the marginality by comparing revenues with different types of cost taken from the costs environment (standards, actual, average,...). Calculates structure costs per every cost center and allows accounts management by periodically taking the balances from the general ledger and grouping the accounts by type. It s possible to make revisions and corrections in extra ledger accounting mode. DATAWAREHOUSE Data are periodically extracted from operational database and, after a normalization process, loaded in a specific database to which users can access to develop analysis with the most common BI (Business Intelligence) tools. To ensure short loading times, data can be incrementally added into the DWH tables, in addition to the global transfer of all the table data.

Organization The process management proposed by the system suggests settings to the organization able to increase efficiency and reduce operational time. On Line The system is totally interactive, and allows to activate mass procedures in case of large volumes of data. Materials and production resources planning It s available a module for materials planning, which is integrated with resources planning and scheduling. Configurator Configurable BOMs at any level of structure. Simulation (What If) Simulation tools are available in many areas. Make to Stock Make to Order Make to Stock and Make to Order management available. Production management The production detection can be done for any specific phase of a production order. Production management Possibility to aggregate phases of different orders to manage together their detection. Work in Process Full management of the WIP materials, also as warehouse stocks and so from inventory point of view. Subcontracting Full integration between internal and external production (combined routings). Document management All the documents are managedby "revision level", in this way every change is traced and it s possibile to prepare modifications to data in advance, letting them operative in the future. Workflow Events management per level of progress, in order to assure a correct flow in company processes. Tracking and Tracing Tracking and tracing of batches, both internal and external. Supply Chain Management Integration via web of the suppliers (both of raw materials and workmanships - external production). Multilingual user interface Quality certification The system is consistent with the needs of a modern quality check system.
